But there’s definitely some crazier things I’ve seen on bass. Les Claypool, Victor Wooten, Jaco Pastorious, Evan Brewer, just to name a few.

Zach is my favorite musician cuz he makes bass guitar beautiful. Playing bass like flea isnt the only way to play. Flea is great and all, but so is this, and Im glad that someone out there plays his bass guitar like this

@@adamlaxmusic Yeah! He makes the instrument something beautiful. Is crazy how many people out there really believe that you "cant do that on a bass". But yeah hes way talented.
@@moogibeans9822 Zach said in article that he was "bored" of how people traditionally played bass. He then taught himself chords and how to play like he does in Pinback. I was a bass guitarist with the same feeling and my introduction to Pinback has now forever changed the way I play bass and play music. I owe a lot to Zach and his musical abilities and I sure as hell hope that I can meet him one day.

Yes, zach plays bass guitar using full chord progression. Rob _usually_ plays guitar but they have a few songs where he plays bass guitar as well
