Yep, it's called a "Telestrator", invented in the mid-50's. It was a "dumb" device, basically an electronic Etch-a-Sketch. The video is coming from a VHS player (you hear Dave say, "is that EP or SP?" - those are two speeds the videotape runs at)
@@trainsacomin2088 No, Trump is not the slightest bit like that. Trump is a horribly inept comedian and a horribly inept actor. For that matter, he’s horribly inept at just reading a teleprompter-or just reading, for that matter.
A show about nothing.. that people can never stop talking about. So why am I talking about it? About what, what? About Nothing! Exactly my point! Genius. Jerry knew at this point in 1992, he and Larry David created an iconic comedy sitcom.

I know your comment is really old but why would you make a fact less comment like that? If they hated each other then why was Dave in one of the first episodes of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee and why was Jerry in a string of Dave's last episodes, including the very last, and why was Jerry chosen by Dave to interview him in one of his last forums as host of The Late Show and one of the first post retirement?! Stop talking out of your ass.
All scenes from Jerry's apartment were with a live studio audience according to the DVD bonus material. Scenes not at Jerry's apartment were played for the studio audience for a authentic laugh reaction and dubbed in during post-production. There is only one episode that did not have the apartment and thus had a zero live laughter, but it was not a laugh track.
Am I the only one impressed with the interactive media player in the early 90’s?
I didn't know they had touch screens back then.
And Seinfeld used it as a prop in a comedy bit about props. Wouldn't be Seinfeld without going meta.
Think John Madden

Yup, we weren't complete savages.
this was so great, Jerry being arrogant and pompous and Dave being the naïve show host. never seen this before, ty for posting it.
That's gold Jerry...GOLD!
Seinfeld is a great comedic mind.
Genius? Genius? yeah... just unassuming.
@@jfjoubertquebec he is
This is actually amazing
The Magic Loogie reenactment is one of Jerry's funniest gags
LOL! This is incredible. "You're actually setting up a comedy vortex"
What a great clip. And Jerry is not kidding, he was always doing something else while "acting", haha. Love them both.
Excellent clip.
He has the way of telling jokes that is funny, and while the jokes themselves aren't the greatest it's still funny.
Yes, Trump is like that
It’s called “being a comedian”. Delivery is everything.

The way they discuss this gibberish and chuckle is killing😂😂

Jerry is the best
Seinfeld is good at being goofy.
this actually makes a lot of sense ..if you look at it more seriously...
It's basically Jerry trying to explain to us why he is a comedy genius. And rich.
this reminds me of chris elliott, pretending something he says or does makes sense or is profound when it's just silly
Of course he's silly, that's why he got the fusilli Jerry

love dave too funny
Boy did Jerry partake in the fruits, he had no idea.
It's all in the delivery.
Just like James Dean and his lasso in "Giant"
The amount of $$$ is a lot more than he ever imagined.
And the vortex leads to a flowing eddy or Flo and Eddie.
Seinfeld is an unknown genius

Jerry didn't act, and there was no studio audience to laugh, it was all laugh tracks, that's the irony.
