i’ll never forget where i was when i first heard this. i was staying with my cousin and his wife during quarantine in 2020. he and his wife had left for groceries and i had the living room to myself and was just jamming to my own music on youtube (this time was also the first time i ever saw roku). I left to cruise the neighborhood and smoke a bowl but i left youtube just playing on its own on the tv. Maybe an hour or so later i got back to the house and my cousin and his wife were still gone. I walked into the house and this song was playing on the tv maybe about 2 minutes in. I stood behind the couch, baked as a cake, with my mouth just hanging open until the song ended and probably for at least a minute after that. i showed this song to my cousin later on (we have polar opposite tastes in everything, least of all music) and he loved it. the other song from quarantine that i got super hooked on, and became a fan of one the artists in a bigger way, was a song called Nothing Left by D33J, Deb Never, and Schlomo. I’ve never seen a reaction to it, but it’s a vibe.
This is 1 of my FAV jams, I've had it on my chillin' playlist for yrs. FKJ & Masego are both phenomenal musicians. Whomever requested this, y'all have amazing taste!! ✌🖤🐿
Masego is a musical genius. This was a complete freestyle from start to finish. Masego is the one singing & this is the first song they did upon his arrival at the studio. They did like 10 more but this is the only one that didn't get lost. FKJ is French & couldn't speak English very well so they let the music do the talking. This is the extended version. The regular version is like 5 mins Great reaction per usual. I suggest the entire Masego - Studying Abroad: Extended Stay album.
