Wow 🤩 Buckin Billy that is a awesome trip or adventure to the husky plant and museum and those husky motorcycles,! That’s awesome my friend,! I hope to see that one day up close,! Thanks for the tour ,!
Great tour! Husky makes great stuff. My wife has a Husky sewing machine, with a mechanical computer to select stitches, that we purchased new in 1970, and it still works beautifully. I was a little disappointed that I didn't see a shot of my favourite saw of them all, the 2100 XP. At 33:16, you were talking right in front of an exact look alike of my Husky 400, 8 speed, dirt bike. What a beast! I always used to joke that it was just big enough to kill me. Love the impromptu gift if the axes, and I would kill to stay on that river boat. Very enjoyable and enlightening. Bob
So many these days don't have any appreciation for the older machinery. Everythings now electronic and robotic, mass produced without a thought. Those old belt drive lathes and machines, simplicity at it's finest. Great vid of the factory and where they came from.
TIM. Thank you so much for sharing this experience with Buckin. Because of your generous gift we all have benefited so much. I'm enjoying this trip from my little town in Indiana. I can tell by Buckin's body language and facial expressions how much he appreciates all that you have made possible. Have fun and BE. KIND
Sure do ! Check out the movie “ On Any Sunday “ lots of footage of Malcom doing things on a motorcycle that are unbelievable ! Also , Story about Steve McQueen shows him riding Huskys on the beach and in the desert . GREAT MEMORIES .

I didn't realize they were into bikes. But I am slo surprised thye had no snowmobiles, considering that almost every company in the world made them in the 70s. "I don't get out much..." Your enthusiasm is catchy. And that was amazing that one of your TH-cam followers, Mort, came all the way to see you and gave you those gifts!

I owned a Husqvarna 360WR motorcycle. That bike was scary fast and indestructible. Topped it out at 105 MPH next to a street bike. I rode the tar out of it for decades and never had a failure. Extremely good quality. Best quality dirt bike in my opinion. I'm sure their other products follow suite.

Sorry for all the comments, but I enjoyed the heck out of this video. Man, what a huge and diverse company, I had no idea they made half of that stuff, just great stuff.
Brought back the memories, BRS, of the Husky 400. They were a heck of a machine and won a lot of races back in the day. Lots of power available and fun to ride. Maybe, the reason they didn't have any saws from the '50's, '60's, and '70's was that they're all still in use.
The look on your face when you got to the boat, Ha Ha, you go up a tree 150ft and not flinch, at the boat you looked nervous, splitting my sides laughing.
I dig the museum i love any old tools and industry... im from the “electric city” we had the 1st electric trolley cars in the United states here in Scranton PA and our iron furnaces produced some of the 1st iron “T” rails for out countries railroads. They just dont make things the way they did in the past.
