The Four Winds is the first book I've read by Kristin Hannah. I finished it today. The book is wonderful. I've never read anything like it before. I also purchased four of Hannah's previous books today and I'm excited to start reading The Great Alone. This was an excellent interview! :)

Just read a book where they describe the characters eyes over and over and it drove me insane!!! Loved The Four Winds from the first page to the last...and bawled my eyes out. Great conversation!

What a wonderful interview. I have watched/listened to a number of interviews by this author and this was the best by far. Great dialogue on the 'dust up' over communism. I too was very surprised to see this was an issue for some. It's history. I also loved hearing more about how the author writes and creates. And the book is fabulous. Best of the year for me.

Every couple of years I read book that is so good that I am sad when I have finished the book. 'The Four Winds' is such a book.
