It's been a while since I posted but I'm back from my break and editing all my footage from the past few months so expect some random videos in the weeks to come lol
Here's my footage from the day I got my new wheelchair (an RGK TigaSub4) where I explain the whole process and pricing/different parts and customisations! Hope this helps some of you looking to buy one or who are just interested or want to learn more :)

Tourette's syndrome is a neurological condition and disability which causes involuntary movements called tics. I use my platforms on social media such as TikTok, TH-cam and Instagram to advocate and raise awareness for the condition and show what it is like living with a disability as a teen in school.
My name is Zara Beth (zeezee25 on tiktok) and I post videos about tics, tic disorders and what its like to be a teen living with Tourette's syndrome, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and a seizure disorder (NEAD/NES).
I show what its like having tics and Tourettes in class and in school and college, vlog, and I also bake, do other challenges and answer all your questions in Q and A videos.
I am also an ambulatory wheelchair user so I show what life looks like using various mobility aids and how needs change from day to day!

for my chair, it was my mums when she broke her hip and used in the years before she got her replacement surgery, it’s a quickie, it’s so so good, and i’m so grateful we had one already

Hope you have a great Christmas Zara. Thanks for all your content this year, your Tourettes awareness Tik Toks helped me understand quickly what was going on when a shop assistant was ticcing in front of me which possibly avoided an awkward situation.

I’m currently waiting for insurance to approve my chair. I have FND also and have been paralyzed from the waist down for 9 months now but my insurance is being difficult. Glad you got your chair and I hope it serves you well!
in the past year my health has deteriorated a lot .. the drs don't now what but keep blaming my mental health i can't walk 5 minutes down the road without excruciating pain i have been looking to buy a wheelchair but theyre so exspensive !! i couldn't believe it then i remembered my nan has one she doesn't use anymore so she's letting me borrow it until i can get my own i'm so happy about it !!

'The Surge LT' is actually the name of the push rims, which are oval-shaped and have a rubber top for better grip. My custom wheelchair will be delivered in January and is thankfully fully covered by insurance. It is a Meyra Nano X.

Oh my god, I have FND that causes leg weakness and paralysis! It’s so amazing to see someone who has the same diagnosis as me❤
Like I said, I also have FND, but am a teenager, so I’m having trouble getting a good wheelchair because my parents don’t think it’s “necessary”. If you have any suggestions on how to get my parents to listen to me, please let me know
Omg your wheelchair is perfect for what I need. Thank you for making this video. I have PANDAS which causes temporary partial paralysis and leg pain and suspected HEDS, so it can be difficult to walk

Great wheelchair. Having a good quality lightweight one is so much better. I think you will find that the wheel guards are designed to take weight for transfers etc. My guess is that they are stronger than they look.
I'm so lost, I don't really how to get one and how to get advices in France (I always find brands and everything related to old people 😭). But i'm 20, I'm trying to find tips to what to choose but that's quite messy. I'm happy to find your video, who helped me a bit more about what is available and possible, to find similairities and know what is good for me.💛 But yeah, I'm still lost to where to buy.
Lovin' the wheels is a lot better than that big chair you had and it was a bargain nice one 😊
I got my electric wheelchair second hand it has been so helpful I never thought I would be able to get a electric wheelchair even though I needed it and everything is perfect for me with a few things I needed to add on now if only I could get a nice manual chair for when I can take my electric I also have a Amazon wheelchair not the best
Since my amputation I have been using one I borrowed from the hospital. It has done fine, but I can see it's limitations. I would like to upgrade, but since I got my prosthetic I have been trying to use the wheelchair less, but I have to offload as much as I can due to a wound on my remaining foot. It was caused due to my putting more weight on my remaining foot.
I managed to get a second hand quickie but love living life on the edge so those anti-tippers were gone instantly
Omg I have a friend Amy who needs a wheelchair like this soooo bad ! She’s a full time user and paralysed waist down but her current wheelchair isn’t suitable! Irs so frustrating! I think she found one similar to yours at one point but someone got it before she did 😩

I'm starting the proceedings of wheelchair classes to learn how to do a wheelchair cuz here in California they want you to practice wheelchair classes before actually getting one

Where did you buy the wheelchair from? Was there a particular website for getting second hand wheelchairs. As I am looking into getting a wheelchair myself.
mine was from ebay! just be careful with sellers whenever you go and make sure to check what you’re buying :)

Every time I go out to places like seaworld or other places like that I have to have a wheelchair due to my disabilities (even on school trips) and my family is thinking of actually getting me one because my disabilities are getting worse so yeah

I’m legally blind and I have severe wounds on my feet and I’m meeting a wheelchair. Can you tell me what your little devices that allows you to be hands-free so that you can use a cane? Also when you talk about measurements can you tell me like what exactly measurements are you talking about . And where did you find that lightweight wheelchair? Also, do you know if Medicare pays for it? I try to regular wheelchair but I’m also plus size. I couldn’t move it at all. I also have nerve damage in one of my hands and I can’t use a regular wheelchair and it came the same time so I basically have been stuck in bed for two months now at least because I live alone I have nobody to push me, the ones that I did have for a short time were really heavy and I couldn’t go anywhere. I want something exactly like what you have so that I can use it when I need it and I definitely need the hands-free thing if possible you have a video on it as well. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
I'm legally blind as well, sorry I can't help with the wheelchair thing but have you gotten a cane yet? I found out that you can get a free cane through the National Federation of the Blind if you are visually impaired or blind of course. And you can apply to get a new free one every 6 months. I found out through the channel Matthew and Paul. Paul is the blind/ visually impaired one in their relationship.
I have several other injuries/ disabilities so I was browsing information on wheelchairs in case I might need one as well. Mobility has been getting rougher for me as well so I'm just trying to get ahead of the curve with looking it up. Also, I'm trying to look it up while I can still see since my vision has been getting worse lately as well.
