- After hearing about how Jollibee is at the heart of family dining, it was obvious to me that the first thing I ate after I landed in Manila was to visit Jollibee! And where better to visit than the actual location of my meet and greet in a few days time.

They did offer but they also picked me up from the airport (not to mention wait 3-4 hours for me to arrive) and spent the whole week with me, doing what I had planned so they took a lot out of their time to stay with me, and without fuss, so the least I could do was show my gratitude. Plus the food was cheap so I really don't mind. It was my treat

Jollibee has announced that their first restaurant in Europe will be located in Italy because it has the most number of Filipinos. Eventually, Jollibee will spread to other European countries. Yummy!
We do have aloha champ here.
There is a rumour that one is opening in London but I just don't know when that will be. Even then, it's a 2.5 hour drive but it'll be SOOO worth it to order more things from the menu that I didn't get to try.

Hi Dan. This was a long-awaited mukbang. I appreciated that you consider the basic burger tasty. Chickenjoy and the Yumburger are what built Jollibee in the beginning. The Yumburger was what I would buy for snacks or lunch when I didn't have enough money. When you eat Filipino food, use the rice to balance the extreme flavors you encounter. You can also dip your French Fries (chips in Britain) in either ketchup, the gravy, or the ice cream! The different flavor combos (salty, starchy, sweet, sour, savory, bitter, etc.) are what Filipino food is all about.
Selwyn Clyde Alojipan no sorry you are actually wrong. jollibee was once an ice cream parlor. until then they add burgers and fries. and people loving it so they add more and then chicken joy came.
+Anitsirc Anitsirc+ I know that Jollibee started as an ice cream parlor but I never encountered it at the time it was selling only ice cream. I encountered Jollibee only after it converted to selling hamburgers then later the Chickenjoy was launched and these together with the Jolly Spaghetti was what made Jollibee more popular than McDonald's in the Philippines even now a few decades later.

I remember the feeling when I first try jollibee when I was 5 years old. That was during my birthday and the nostalgia is still there everytime I see people eating at jollibee.

This is so damn nice Dan! I was smiling the whole time watching you enjoy your Jollibee meal. Moreso, when you took a bite of the hot and spicy chicken, that genuine reaction was so adorable! I know though that British people are not so much into spicy foods so that reaction is quite understandable. I suggest you try their spaghetti. The spaghetti is a treasure that most kids always clamor once they enter the doors of any Jollibee store in the country. You would notice that the flavors always has a sweet profile in it. That is because Filipino palate generally leans towards sweet tasting foods - we have a sweet tooth at that! I've seen the preview of your tour in and around Intramuros and the streets of Manila and I look forward to share your joy in the coming videos...
We do like spicy foods (we have an insane number of Chinese, Indian and Mexican restaurants) in the UK, and some people like really hot stuff, but I think the milder stuff is what is most common to have. I love ordering food with a bit of spice, and I actually cook food with spices thrown in, but I just didn't expect the spicy chicken in Jollibee to blow my face off 😂

Yeeyy I just had spicy chickenjoy yesterday with pie and juice. Jollibee is my daughter's favorite fastfood restaurant, it's the skin that she likes and sundae, plus their pancake burger, my hubby likes the steak with egg and amazing aloha. It's always been my family's dating place (because we can't say no to our daughter's Saturday Jolly schedule)
But your reaction with spicy chicken is cute .. woahhh it's hot..and yes it's hot. It cracks me a little there while thinking that you have to be careful, it's painful when swallowed the wrong way for it's hot..!
There's so much on the menu I didn't get chance to try and so next time I'm going to order everything lol
