@@whotfisturbo That's what I thought at first too but then he put his hand out in front of the light and we could see the shadow of it. Maybe he used some kind of trick for that part though.

It's the light reflecting to the front of the person making it seem she's invisible. When he waves his hands, he blocks a part of the light, but the rest still reflects on top of the person.
Ruvim Silc There is nothing wrong at all with the quality of this video, you can see perfectly well what's going on. People are too spoiled with crystal clear first class HD nowadays.

Absolutely astonishing. Love the old camera style and all that, although people seem to not understand. You are a pretty good talker. And have a very likable face.
how can someone this like this guy's video he is very interesting and very awesome Richard Wiseman is my favorite professor and I just got to both of his TH-cam channels
Robert Harbin was one of my childhood heroes. I think he DID show this illusion once on TV, say, in the 1960's or 1970's. I didn't think it was all that convincing so maybe that's why he never did it again. I saw Robert Harbin live in stage when I was taken by my father to one of the magic Circle Christmas Shows, which must have been in the early 1960's. The magic Circle still have their Christmas shows which members of the public can attend. They are held in their now permanent home in Stevenson Street near Euston Station.
It's like 2 periscopes. The light comes thru the rear glass, reflects off the front glass toward the center then reflects off the rear glass toward the viewer. And technically it does use mirrors if you count reflecting glass as a mirror.
Read through the invisible Man, there is a chapter where he describes about how he tried to get the refractive index of air and the body to be the same; and then directed his work to nullify the effect of the pigments that absorb and reflect light. That is the basic idea of invisibility.
could be of the light passing through the glass. alternating an illusions with the colours from the lake at a high speed. making the light to focus on the object projecting to the lamp itself
I think the body disappearing was just the body being covered by the reflection of the light on the glass and when he put his hand over it it blocked the light making it look like the ninja was invisible
its so simple all it is is the reflection of the light off the mirrors in front of the person over them so it looks like what is behind the reflection is gone, you can also tell its a reflection because the reflection is smaller than the light itself.
Hmmm...seems like a matter of refraction to me. Use the glass to bend the light, have a person stand at a certain angle, and viola. Invisibility. But, I could be wrong. This is just my guess at it, and that's what it looks like to me. What do you guys think?
The light you see infront of the ninja is a reflection of the light behind, it bounced off the glass to here right and left and appeared infront of her (that is just my theory)
So many illusions at once makes me question my reality.

This might actually be my favorite video from you, that was fascinating from beginning to end and presented in such an engaging way.
This video shows so well how just a little bit of editing can make it so much better :)
Woah two videos in 5 days?!?!Thats a new record!!!

So the people complaining about 480p and rare uploads are coming later?
i liked the last trick , where quirkology becomes visible after adding water 😁
That was very well-done and I love how it actually worked after all this time. Nicely done!
Did he film all his videos in 1980?
you must be new haha

set countdown to 3 months for next video.
How about a countdown until people stop making jokes about Quirkology's upload frequency?
Happy Industries we better set a countdown about overused jokes.

what that was so cool!!! I love this. Reminds me of old school mythbusters, illusion confirmed!

0:45 WAIT...HOW DID HE FILM THAT WITHOUT THE CAMERA REFLECTING OFF THE MIRROR!?
Read through the invisible Man, there is a chapter where he describes about how he tried to get the refractive index of air and the body to be the same; and then directed his work to nullify the effect of the pigments that absorb and reflect light. That is the basic idea of invisibility.
I'm going to assume it's the reflection of the glass reflecting onto the other glass which makes it a correct facing reflection.
I'll see you next year, then.
Also, GREAT video! :D
that was awesome!!
i need more of this :P
that was the coolest thing i've ever seen in my life
very cool... would like more of these if you can think of/read up on them
could be of the light passing through the glass. alternating an illusions with the colours from the lake at a high speed. making the light to focus on the object projecting to the lamp itself
I started to just look out for all the tricks that he could be doing before it happened but never could guess.
This illusion was done by GMF a few months back. He took credit for the whole thing
i asked santa for the marvins magic quirkology set
You would make an excellent Doctor Fate!
This is awesome! You should do more videos about the history of illusion and illusionists....
I think the body disappearing was just the body being covered by the reflection of the light on the glass and when he put his hand over it it blocked the light making it look like the ninja was invisible
Disney's gotta use that in one of their rides

This type of content is great, I'd love to see more like it. But I do agree with some others, it'd probably be best to invest in a better camera
The ninja is more stylish than people these days
I like this type of video! Do more please?

I love this quirkylogy.
when the light doesn't turn off when you clap...
The light should be bigger. The ninja would be totally transparent

Je boi britse oude man is back
That's pretty amazing!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Ik how he did it since the glass is tilted the reflection is shining in front of him and that's why you could see is hans
Solution: there is no trick. The Quirkology Ninja is already transparent!
make more videos like this
!WOW! Amazing video
We not gonna acknowledge that this man actually created this illusion himself?
My only problem with this is that you can see the ninja at all
Not too difficult to understand, that last trick.
what's more impressive is that this channel still does not have 16:9 resolution videos even if it has over 2 mil subs.
it's 2016 and this guy uses a 480p camera lol
no one cares, you fucktard
Daniel Sloane its more sad that he cares about quality over the illusion of an invisible man.
Lol don't be butthurt guys, come on
clearly at least 17 people care
tbh I actually like the quality of this video, it kinda shows that he actually cares about the content he makes rather than an expensive camera

So in theory just increase the size of the light and glass panes and they will disappear altogether right?
