This is as per an Indian Express analysis that between 2004-2014, you consider big leaders, 72 important leaders were investigated by the CBI in the UPA years, 29 were either from Congress itself or its allies (40%). Since 2014 onwards, out of 88 important leaders only 6 BJP leaders are currently under the CBI scanner (7%) and all of the six are treated with kid gloves and VIP treatment, e.g. Sadhvi Pragya. 5 of 6 were cases from before 2014.
Major high-profile cases like Augusta Westland, Coal Scam, 2G scam Commonwealth Scam were investigated by these institutions. In NDA, RTI was weakened, corruption was legalized through Electoral Bonds and PM-Cares and the cases that were running against BJP leaders were weakened by these organizations, so SC had to give them bail.
Since 2014, there is the phenomena of sending critics to jail and delay their hearing so that they spend maximum time possible in jail without trial in frivolous charges and when they get hearing and are about to get bail, more frivolous charges are stamped on them. Siddique Kappan spent 2 years in jail from hearing to hearing, from one court to another while Arnab Goswami got hearing and bail in 2 days. Stan Swamy did not get bail even when suffering from Parkinsons and put in ventilator and charges against him still sub judice. There are many more I can write on.
Don't get me started on raids on media houses not forwarding the Government agenda - e.g. editors of the Wire, HW News Network, NDTV etc.
And then corrupt leaders after entering BJP gets case removed straight away - that's open for everyone to see.
BTW, Amit Shah spent 90 days in jail for Sohrabuddin fake encounter trial case. Soon after BJP came in power, the case was shifted from the trial court judge who wanted Shah to appear in court and was replaced by Loya. When Loya insisted on Shah to be questionedm Loya died under mysterious circumstances and another judge was brough in who has since been promoted. You know what was indeed misuse? Jail of P Chidambaram who was Home Minister when Shah went to jail.

Very interesting discussion. Journalists and people say that it is 'propaganda' or publicity of Mr. Modi and/or BJP that has played a key role for its stability. But the very core of of BJP's popularity is 'Hindutwa'. Only the Hindu believes or pretends of believing that major Indian media (godi midia) are true. In any discussion or debate if a BJP leader does not have a ground to speak he/she starts charging the opponent saying ' see this guy is not Hindu, he has done so and so things that is anti Hhindu. The one and only party whose strategy can knock the BJP down is AAP. Because AAP is very smartly distancing itself from any racial or religious issues but it (AAP) is addressing the domestic issues of disadvantaged population.
I think the renound journalists and educated people must understand and bring it to people's discourse is that the 'Hindutwa' nourished by RSS is a fatal poison for India, sooner or later.
