Yeah brown hybrids are sadly not rare for either male or female mallard- they’re very common. The only rare plumage types for mallard are: melanistic, leucistic and blonde.

@@randomidiot8142they’re really common for mallards. The only duck species where piebald is rare is green wing teal I believe.
Blonde is female exclusive and leucistic is male exclusive too just to add to what you said Mel. Glad you’re feeling better too btw ❤

The purists probably aren't super into it but I'm finally truly enjoying casual play with the 300AR. The "overkill" penalty is a non issue vs the much reduced tracking that makes the game more like a game.
Honestly people need to get off their high horses about the purity of this game as a simulator and accept that people can play it however they enjoy. There’s so much talk about if hm is bad for the game or if ar’s are bad sport, I say it’s a game so play how you like. I’m not defending modding in multiplayer though because when it negatively affects other players experience that’s crossing the line, but if someone wants to mod in single player just for personal enjoyment and they’re not trying to pass off trophies as legitimate then I say go nuts. Basically just play the game how you want because if you’re having fun that’s what matters.

exactly, I never did a bear grind so I don’t understand why I still have to kill all the bears at night to be able to hunt them in the day. makes absolutely zero sense
Honestly as someone who grinds a lot I would’ve just preferred a pop reset. It’s not that hard to get bears set up for a grind if you know what you’re doing and it would’ve been nice not to have to jump around to different times just to get bears on the proper schedule. I’m not really a fan of this and hope they don’t do it again in the future.

With the new bear drink time im pretty sure if u havent discovered ur zones for them then they appear at the new time whether or not u have a fresh map after the update atleast thats what i had on my srp that ive had for like 8 months

Would resetting the population also reset the bear drink zones to the new time? Resetting is possible through mods, so multiplayer maps could have all new zones this way.
No idea. I seem to recall being told about a needzone file at some point. If that exists, I doubt a pop reset does much

Hey Flinter I have a favor to ask... (Long time viewer) How do you avoid Modded Servers when you play multiplayer. I jumped on to a multiplayer server and almost everything was diamond or rare skin... maybe you could do a video on how you avoid these modded servers and keep your play style legit. I know how far you go to avoid "cheating" referencing your pistol heart challenge, so how do you avoid cheating servers, or is it even possible?
Unfortunately it’s not possible. Best you can do currently is check around and make sure that everything looks right before looking for trophies. If it’s modded you just gotta leave and find a new server. Most modded servers are very obvious but if you want to be sure check the weight of the animal you harvest and see if it matches up with the score. If it doesn’t then chances are it’s a modded animal. If you’re not sure what to be looking for as far as what weights would be correct my recommendation would be to ask around in some of the discord servers related to the game. There’s plenty of people who know how to spot modded trophies so just run it by them if you’re really unsure. Hope this helps 😊

Uncommon. I've been using them as placeholders for when I can find some small game to put there instead.
