I've been learning Tagalog for quite awhile now. I have a good vocabulary and grasp of the grammar but putting that together with listening and understanding has been more difficult. This video is one of the best I've found yet. Thanks!

Hello, Micah Reyes. Your comment / address, is, as I see it now, two weeks old. There was a time when I didn't speak English at all. Curious as to where you're from, but it's none of my business. If I may provide for you, some correction and advice. As I saw that no one has care to, so far. If I don't get corrected when I make a mistake, I am not going to learn any better! How you said what you said, how you expressed yourself, this isn't correct English. It would be better to say , what I think that you had meant to say, would better expressed by "This is very helpful to me." (In the present tense.) And, or, as "This was very helpful to me." (In the past tense. Glad to be of help to you. Stay well
@@odin7991 . Are you aware of the fact the comment you posted, because of wrong choice of words, and improper grammar, makes practically no sense? But, I know only a little bit of Tagalog. Maligayang bagong taon. Stay well.
It's too many phrases at one time. I love the tagalog language, but I wish you would put together an exercise of fewer sentences at once. Giving us with less experience more time to absorb what is being said. Other than that great job.
Can’t deny it. Hahaha. I’m a native speaker of this langauge ,but when it comes to technicality questions of non-native speakers it’s kinda hard to explain. 😅

I have a question about the verb kausapin, may I know how does it formed up.
Kinda challenging to explain this one. 😅
@@random-accessmemory9201 its object focus, ex: sino ang kinakausap mo ?
It is used for imperative sentence when you give order, command or make a request.
Example: Kausapin mo sya. (Talk to him.)
Can you do a video explaining “paano v. papano?” Salamat ho.
Mabuti..

Ano ang hinahanap mo? - What are you looking for?
May hinahanap ka ba? - “Are you looking for someone/something?”
I noticed the order of constructing a sentence in Tagalog is sort of different from the English way. Is there a rule behind that please?
