Great video and so interesting that you have Aspergers. You wouldn’t have known. I’m saying that to you when I hate people say that in regards to my toddler who is in the middle of being assessed for autism. She is ‘classic’ autism. Walks on her toes, not talking, doesn’t understand. Hates bright lights textures etc. She also has the violent meltdowns too 😰 I really struggle. And though you have your struggles but you give me hope! You might not think it but you’re doing amazing. My brother also has autistic traits and my other brother has aspergers. Runs in my family too.
My 22yr old daughter has Asperger syndrome. She didn't get any help from doctors but because I am a nurse that specialised in Classic Autism and High Functioning Autism I was able to give her the help she needed to understand social interaction and communication. She is doing so well now that people would hardly know she has asbergers. As tough as it is you have had to deal with and come to understand it mostly by yourself and you seem to be doing much better than you give yourself credit for. You should be very proud of yourself.

Rather than sitting around pitying myself, I am going to give things my best shot and even when I fall down, I always find a way to keep persevering with my life. It really does suck sometimes though!
ASMR Is Awesome Well I think you're awesome. You have a great attitude that is very inspirational. As for your ASMR videos, you seem to have a very good understanding of what triggers to use. I think your voice is key too. Alternating between speaking softly and whispering, for me, is a major trigger. I hope you continue to do lot and lots more :)
Let us remember that Asperger's syndrome is term used in methods of categorization, and does not determine anything about a person. However, a person may find it helpful to use something like that to describe themselves or others. (It's just something to keep in-mind. I'm not discounting the value of the classification (at least, that's not my intention).) I would like to request you as a Facebook friend, "ASMR Is Awesome", (intentionally placed comma) if you wouldn't mind.
You said you were good at writing stories in school. Why not try being a novelist? I have repeatedly tried to write over the years, but I just don't think I'm nearly good enough to get published. But I really encourage you to take a shot at it if you have the desire. And you can do that while having a family, so it would be a great career path if you can do it.
I'm kind of catching up with your vids. These past few days I learnt 3 ASMRists I watch (you included) have some sort of mental illness. It's surprising obviously because I've met depressing people before and their conditions were obvious. Yours? It feels like they are hidden underneath, and it's kinda sad because it means you all are suffering alone. At least up here in your heads. Anyway, from what I gathered life hasn't been easy on you lately, I hope everything's gonna be fine soon. Take care :-)

Going through school with undiagnosed Aspergers is the worst experience. It caused me to drop out 3 times.
