    Family courts need to stop penalizing protective parents who show *good cause* why they are *properly* trying to prevent abusive parents (such as the murderer Fotis Dulos) from having unsupervised time with the children. *Not every parent is fit* and children are being placed in danger. NOTE JUST HOW CORRECT JENNIFER WAS ABOUT FOTIS BEING AN UNFIT PARENT or HUSBAND. She was right.

    I came into watching this trial with zero knowledge and honestly no openings has left me desperately wanting some context to all this boring evidence. I can’t imagine the jury is paying much attention.

    This defense attorney objects to everything. I understand his job but all the petty objections don’t help but may actually hurt. Better just do ones that are appropriate and really mage a difference in case. His tactic is annoying

      He is annoyingly "lawyerly" .... but he is not wrong to object that the prosecutor should do a better job laying foundation. It works in her favor, so I'm not sure why she waits for an objection.

    The tension in Michelle’s jaw as the prosecutor is speaking (5:48) tells us EVERYTHING we need to know. In other words, she’s guilty, she was complicit in this crime, she was an adulterer and she’s an extreme narcissist who does not like being criticized or judged in a public setting for all to see.

    My friend pointed this out to me. There are voices carrying on a conversation while testimony is happening. I can’t quite figure out if defense has a hot mic or its court staff. Now that it’s been pointed out I can’t unhear them.

      @@l.g.4075 realistically, they should be held accountable when they don’t take a women’s pleas for safety seriously and she ends up dead. It happens way too often and I’m pretty sick of men denying women protection orders who then get no consequences when said woman ends up dead.

    Defense Attorney - Jennifers PO was denied because of the wording in the law on the books at the time. It wasn't denied because of zero evidence and clearly wasn't done (she was murdered) for litigation matters in the custody hearing.

      This is a court of law where a murder trial is underway. The only ppl who should be accommodated are already in that room. When judges start caring abt production value, the justice system will be in even more trouble.

    This defense attorney is coming across as lazy. Idk him. But when your argument is that you don't want to have to cross examine so much...dude....your literal job is to debunk any and all evidence the state presents. Cross examination IS your best weapon....

    Why are we listening to issues about investigators collecting or noting what they thought could be blood? They are looking for evidence to be tested. Then, if it’s not blood, then it’s not evidence. This is a comical argument to keep out evidence. 😂😂

    Won a house in Aspen from an auction! Those things really happen? 😳. I can’t imagine. Lucky if win free scratch ticket or at auction after donating a good chunk of change for me maybe win snacks.

      What that really means is that it was a charity auction in which a rich person donated their vacation home in Aspen for a week to help the charity raise money. Jennifer’s dad probably bid a generous sum of money which goes to the charity, and then his family got to stay in the house for a week. He didn’t “win” the house. He paid good money to stay in the house for a short vacation :)

    ❤ I really like this Judge & I appreciate his fairness, for both sides! This Judge is honorable ans respects his role as the "Gate Keeper" He understands that questionable evidence may impact jurors and therefore, will not allow it to be introduced! Honestly, this Judge has restored my faith bc he truly believes in a fair trial!! ❤😊

    I may be wrong on this but I’ve always learned meat like hamburger or steak has NO blood on it, it’s the proteins etc that make the pink color but that there’s zero blood on that kind of meat because it has all the blood drained and washed off. I mean it still maybe could still test positive, I have no idea how those tests work but seems like a bad example just like the mouse theory 😅 we all know he’s doing his job but so much of this stuff is so silly and really is a bad look when it comes to the jury even if he’s doing his bit to cross all the t’s and fit all the i’s on possibilities.

      Yes, you were taught wrong. Most meat is hung upside down while being butchered so that the bulk of blood drains, but there is plenty left to leave even DNA behind in droplets or smears. American meat is also not rinsed before packaging. Halal meat is drained better than regular meat, but it is also not bloodless, even after draining.

    Did the parents ever spend any time with the kids. 6am to 9Pm Did they help get them up put them to bed. And they had 5 hired. Red flags for both parents. Just my opinion

    One thing I can’t understand is why the law enforcement investigators don’t have their reports with them to refer to during testimony. This investigation was years ago. They can’t possibly remember every item they tagged, photographed, and collected. They write these reports specifically for this purpose. They are required to make meticulous reports as they go along. USE THEM!
