Not every section of a legendary is the same in terms of layout, enemy types and number of enemies but it's still nice to see. Any build will work on heroic, not every build will work in legendary.

@@doobydoo9548 When they wiped the leaderboards I lost my placement on solo leaderboards. Now I have to complete them faster than my previous times or they won't post. I've completed all except for Tidal Basin and the Zoo but I haven't made attempts at those 2 yet. It's crazy that there's isn't even a patch for soloing legendary missions but there are lots of patches for stupid/easy achievements.
I run a similar build but I use technician spec for laser pointer and Vector as primary with flatline. Definitely heartbraker builds hit strong and grant excellent survivability. Nice build.
Technician, memento, Palisade steelworks chest with spotter and skill tier, 2 heartbreaker pieces with weapon damage and two heartbreaker pieces with skill tiers. Drone and turret, rpk with flatline, acr with in sync, linked laser pointer and dta on both, tdi kard custom with future perfect. Whenever I play solo, which isn't very often, I almost always use this build. ☝️
Nice, I wish Memento work better. As it currently, I hate to use it when I'm not solo. Reason, if your teammate kill the target, even if u hit them, it didn't drop token. Wish it was a mark and when mark target death, token drop.
@@JRZTT I don't really like the whole collecting trophies mechanic either so I mostly use a completely different build with the Ninjabike backpack, it's probably my favorite backpack, and I mostly match make with randoms, I very rarely play solo.

First I eliminate the wave of enemies (mostly from behind cover) and then collect the trophies. This makes it pretty easy to get the 30% weapon damage and 3% armor regeneration. These buffs last for 5 minutes and you only need to collect a single trophy to reset the countdown. So once you have stacked the Memento, it is almost impossible to lose the buff again. This makes the Memento probably the strongest backpack. If you decide to get out of cover during the fight, then take a detour over the trophies lying around on your way to the enemies. The bonus armor you now receive means you are even better protected. Keep in mind that with the Ninja Backpack you forego 30% weapon damage and 3% armor regeneration.
@@ingobruehl1223 I completely agree, I only leave cover to collect a trophy when I absolutely have to in order to reset the timer, otherwise I wait till the fight is over, collect em all, move on to next fight. Memento is a very strong backpack at max stacks, especially solo, but I don't really have a reliable Internet connection, so I'll often lose my memento stacks from simply being disconnected from the game. I use my Ninjabike backpack build cause even though it's not the best DPS build or best skill build or the build with the most survivability, it does very well at all three without any stacking required and no need to pick up trophies. So I personally just have more fun playing the game when I use the Ninjabike bag but the memento really is the "better" backpack. 👍
I had a favorite build not strikers and thought that hit pretty hard… crazy part is I run 4 reds and 2 blues… I put this build together this morning and WoW this hits extremely hard… now I’m not one for legendary but in heroic with 3 directives it works like a charm… great build sir
Very nice. My mate worked this Heartbreaker build out a few weeks ago, and I much prefer it to Strikers. You can't kill anything if you're dead - survivability is the name of the game, in any game. Wel gedaan. Cheers, Harry.
I have an old liberty build that does amazing headshot and solos legendaries, and all directives, no issues. I was tweaking it a bit for Summit when summit first came out. Since you'll fight a lot of black tusk in summit, so had to tweak it to get immunity to shock ammo. But the slight thrill of a challenge is enjoyable.
Switch out the catharis for momento. 3 percent armor regen 30 percent weapon damage and 30 skill effiency. Then bonus armor and mini overchange for your skills with every trophy you grab plus weapon damage To many benefits to not go with momento. Linked laser pointer and police m4 your stacks never go down pretty much. Purpose of linked is everything you shoot no matter what gives bonus armor. When npc's start doing cartwheels and all that weird stuff its kinda hard to land a headshot. And the head shot only pulses for what 5 secs. Its much better to use the link laser pointer.
While vigilance is good. I’d argue there might be better options especially when you’ve actually taken damage for the backpack talent. Hell. If you wanted the ultimate defence you could run bloodsucker
Ceska Mask & Memento would be an overall improvement. T6 Shield, constant regen(instead RNG burst healing), 15% more base damage(extra red core) to make up for mask buff + 30% buff(its not amp but also doesnt turn off when hit). Consistency > RNG bursts. Over time this will just do more of everything while being tankier. I know that Catharsis doesnt get much love outside of PVP but thats for a reason; I appreciate trying to find a spot for it.

Just tried this. Tanky and hits hard for heroic and 4 directives. My build doesn't even have a high level of expertise for my weapons (lvl 7). Also helped my get better at aiming for the head regularly haha

You can use this build with the Chameleon It gives you 20% crit chance, 50% critical hit damage and 90% weapon damage if you land your shot and collect the buffs I was able to get even higher damage numbers compared with striker when i swapped out the St. Elmo’s Engine

This has been my Countdown build for years now, but with LLP and Flatline. Love it. Even when you take on the hunters, you still get bonus armour even if you’re far away.
As a new player, getting exotics has been a struggle. Rolled four chameleons at this point 😭Have almost everything but the mask for this build, definitely a set-up from my current coyote striker set-up
I'm a fairly new player (less than a month) I think the build has potential I was able to max out everything attribute and core wise but my expertise is very low so I seen a significant decrease from my striker build it worked but the play was much slower since u need ur shield up to keep the bonus armor so u keep ur dmg (challenging difficulty btw)

Wow man... I have followed many build videos... some good, some just not my pay-style... some had pretty bad results... but I just put this together and it delivers some amazing results... I had all the pieces you suggest... had to optimize ecal a few... the Ceska backpack I have has Perfect Clutch which is working REALLY great... this is my new go-to build for solo and group play.
If you want to use the bag for the set bonuses, couldn't you just swap out the knees pads or holster for fox or picaros? Wouldnt either fit for increased damage output?
One of the things I dislike about Heartbreaker vs Striker, esp in legendary is that HB doesnt stack on tech, and not on dogs without the LLP (no "heads") or other pulse skill. And white tusk have a lot of tech. But the added survivability is great, it's my PfE hunter face-tanking build for that reason.
@PatrickWolfChannel sure, but then you aren't using Gunner (no AoK etc but you still have Cartharsis), can't use Elmo, and again doesnt work on wall-e bots regardless. Which is why I mentioned the LLP explicitly.
I've tried this build before and just tried it again with the exact setup shown in the video, and I still get downed super quick and that's on heroic. My watch is maxed, as are my mods, and weapons and I don't generate the damage or healing numbers shown in the video. I'm no slouch with getting headshots either. My error for sure, but couldn't say what. I guess it's back to Striker... le sigh.
Heartbreaker is on my 3 character because of survivability, sometimes combine with regen with ninja backpack. In The Division 2, build, weapons and position matters, strong build and weapons but position wrong, will not survive.
I use the same heartbreaker set and the backpack the only different piece I use is the Coyote's mask as I don't have the catharsis yet. Still works real well.
I’m also thinking about using coyote, build will function the same, your just not getting that extra 30% weapon dmg (which is pretty significant) but it’s something until you get cath
I'll have to see if I can give this a try. I'm now stuck on the Kelso tanker mission. Not one of my builds can get me through it on heroic. The one shot sniper build is fantastic right up until the marauder turns up with 3 dogs, then it completely falls apart. I have a striker tank build that can't even get me through the first section of that mission. This game is so fun sometimes
Got stuck in the same spot yesterday. Took me a couple of tries and tweaking my build. I was able to get through it with a ninja bike backpack build with two pieces of providence, one piece Walker and Harris, one piece belstone, and one piece golan gear. Obliterate chest and gunner class. 3 reds, 4 blues, and one yellow. The armor regen and armor on kill help out a lot, along with a fixer drone and shield. Weapons were st. elmos and emelines guard SMG. Had about 58% chc and 176% chd. Before the dogs and marauder spawn, you can run up to the storage container at the middle of the map. Should provide some cover from the marauder and dogs. Kill the dogs first while staying inside the container, and then just run out and use the container as cover for the marauder.

It’s called the Scrim Master uniform. It was part of an apparel event about 2 months ago called Veil Tactics Apparel Event. Not sure if you could still get it, but you could check in the apparel store.
I had an all blue HB build for a while, but I tried yours. HB is still broke AF for me. Sometimes, I get my stacks, and most of the time, I get no stacks. Even after switching oit pieces. I'm so tired of this fucked up game.
I really want to try this build, but I'm contemplating with myself to grind it since I'm trying to make my own build, the only thing I'm facing is either if I should keep my ninja backpack or no, since practically I could use 3 heartbreaker instead of 4 which give me variation on what helmet and vest I should use
As soon as i saw Catharsis, i knew id never be able to so this build exactly because im not allowed to get that mask. I've literally spent a week of playing time of exclusively farming masks and havent gotten it. Nice build nonetheless.
I think the bp is worthless next to hb since you can go up to 50 stacks. 13 hits w/ hb already out does it. Any high rof weapon w link laser pointer and flatline is going to go out perform the Elmo.
Please make a FULL RUN of this BUILD in LEGENDARY DIFFICULTY. Because I can see some content that promotes a build in LEGENDARY difficulty but doesn't end the RUN.
You see the problem with that is I can solo a legendary with any build even a purple setup using the worst gun in the game. It’s about the player and knowledge of the mission.

fun build but it as a big issue => bots . U cant pulse them with this setup, so no damage buff and while fighting them u loose your stacks, the survivability is realy great
somehow my dumb behind skipped the "headshots pulse enemies for 5s" used only once with kingbreaker did not like it went back to hotshot whitedeath(determined) chainkiller - for solo and striker for group play

I'll admit I was skeptical. But I had everything on-hand for this and took it for a test drive in Open world Herioc. I had two Hunters spawn after Metro Ruins Control Point and they were a breeze. You are so right when you say, don't judge by the numbers alone. This plays like its hitting harder than the numbers would suggest.
I can't even unlock gunner bc I legit tried 5 different times to do the basilisk objective on normal & I always end up unaliving him B4 I can destroy all armor. I gave up trying even tho I know gunner is probably the specialization to go with for a better DPS build
close range + dont miss a head either play with laser targeting with smg and you will do 400 k damage with 1.2k RPM not worth torturing yourself with head poping and praying for stacks to be up , but hey we all play how we feel is best for us no hate
It's not the build all the time, it's the player. You can have an amazing build and still be an absolute turd. On literally every single legendary I play I'm always doing the most damage, most kills, and most revives. And thats whether I run 2 million armor or less than a mill
You keep trying to defend it against stryker but its okay to not have quite as much dps as stryker because nothing should, the highest dps should always have no other survivability and survival options should be able to have dps but not as much as the max, this is why build diversity is cool
Ive been running somethin similar for a bit now. I use the backpack with Hunter Killer chest. With dual linked laser, one with Flatline and one obviously being the shotgun!
Headshots to pulse is needed with this gun but My aim is absolute $hit, can i use the technician drone that comes with the sharpshooter specialization to pulse NPC's ?

I had a PVE player who was legendary player and could take on 4 professional DZ players all at once. He just never dies. But when he joined us in a PVE legendary mission Manning Zoo and Tidal Basin, he just kept dying with that DZ gear. I kicked him out of my team after I realise he just let the team down. I thought DZ players were god. But those PVE legendary missions showed me he was so horrible as a team player and his DZ gear sucks balls.
50k less than striker?? A meta striker build can hit upwards of 1.5 million headshot crits (and am not even 700 shd), so ur doing less than 50% dmg of a meta striker build with the 700k crits. Not saying ur build is bad or non functional, just thought that ur claim of “slightly less dmg than striker” is WAY too exaggerated.
I literally demonstrated this in the video so no I have not over exaggerated. I don’t think you understand how this game works in relation to having more reds on a build, your 1.5 million does not apply here unfortunately. You will not hit 1.5 with 5 blues my man you will not I can promise you that. Heartbreaker on a full red can also hit those numbers.
but this build has a bad downside once the buff is full form using the shotty you will never gain anymore bonus armor you would have to let it fall off to then re-build it. Its the one problem i hate about this set so iv tryed to make it better by changing all the blues to red and changed the mask to coyote and still feels weak in group settting
A shield is just another tool in the toolkit to use as needed … this build isn’t even built around it … he was using it situationally … you can run and gun with this just fine for most content if that’s more of your style … an older classic build that is tried and true …
Using a shield for cover or using a wall for cover is the same thing. Play style isn’t built around those even though they help out so I say the build is a win.
Weird! My stats are a tad higher than yours, exact same build. But I only hit for 830k in the shooting range whereas you're in the 900k. And my weapon is at expertise 23. Which is much higher than yours. Was at the same distance, max stacks...etc. I tried removing and reequipping the gear, same result. I am guessing you did the "damage yourself" option? When I do that I am a tad under a million a crit.
Getting St Elmo's has been a pain in the ass. I hate that is so hard after everyone was just given one and I get punished for not playing that specific season

Give L86 a try in this build, instead of RPK. It is a little slower, but has more damage and the handling is much better.

I've tried this exact same build, but with a Kingbreaker and it really ran well - a bit lower RPM than Elmo's but more damage, 600k-900k per bullet.

Heartbreaker is on my 3 character because of survivability, sometimes combine with regen with ninja backpack. In The Division 2, build, weapons and position matters, strong build and weapons but position wrong, will not survive.
I use the same heartbreaker set and the backpack the only different piece I use is the Coyote's mask as I don't have the catharsis yet. Still works real well.
I’m also thinking about using coyote, build will function the same, your just not getting that extra 30% weapon dmg (which is pretty significant) but it’s something until you get cath
I'll have to see if I can give this a try. I'm now stuck on the Kelso tanker mission. Not one of my builds can get me through it on heroic. The one shot sniper build is fantastic right up until the marauder turns up with 3 dogs, then it completely falls apart. I have a striker tank build that can't even get me through the first section of that mission. This game is so fun sometimes
Got stuck in the same spot yesterday. Took me a couple of tries and tweaking my build.
I was able to get through it with a ninja bike backpack build with two pieces of providence, one piece Walker and Harris, one piece belstone, and one piece golan gear. Obliterate chest and gunner class. 3 reds, 4 blues, and one yellow. The armor regen and armor on kill help out a lot, along with a fixer drone and shield. Weapons were st. elmos and emelines guard SMG. Had about 58% chc and 176% chd.
Before the dogs and marauder spawn, you can run up to the storage container at the middle of the map. Should provide some cover from the marauder and dogs. Kill the dogs first while staying inside the container, and then just run out and use the container as cover for the marauder.

It’s called the Scrim Master uniform. It was part of an apparel event about 2 months ago called Veil Tactics Apparel Event. Not sure if you could still get it, but you could check in the apparel store.

I had an all blue HB build for a while, but I tried yours. HB is still broke AF for me. Sometimes, I get my stacks, and most of the time, I get no stacks. Even after switching oit pieces. I'm so tired of this fucked up game.
I really want to try this build, but I'm contemplating with myself to grind it since I'm trying to make my own build, the only thing I'm facing is either if I should keep my ninja backpack or no, since practically I could use 3 heartbreaker instead of 4 which give me variation on what helmet and vest I should use
As soon as i saw Catharsis, i knew id never be able to so this build exactly because im not allowed to get that mask. I've literally spent a week of playing time of exclusively farming masks and havent gotten it. Nice build nonetheless.
Problem is you have to go for headshots to proc the pulse or you won’t get the extra damage
I think the bp is worthless next to hb since you can go up to 50 stacks. 13 hits w/ hb already out does it. Any high rof weapon w link laser pointer and flatline is going to go out perform the Elmo.
Please make a FULL RUN of this BUILD in LEGENDARY DIFFICULTY. Because I can see some content that promotes a build in LEGENDARY difficulty but doesn't end the RUN.
You see the problem with that is I can solo a legendary with any build even a purple setup using the worst gun in the game. It’s about the player and knowledge of the mission.

fun build but it as a big issue => bots . U cant pulse them with this setup, so no damage buff and while fighting them u loose your stacks, the survivability is realy great

somehow my dumb behind skipped the "headshots pulse enemies for 5s" used only once with kingbreaker did not like it went back to hotshot whitedeath(determined) chainkiller - for solo and striker for group play

yes it works well with memento it’s what i currently run just a bit riskier to play if u pick up tags

I'll admit I was skeptical. But I had everything on-hand for this and took it for a test drive in Open world Herioc. I had two Hunters spawn after Metro Ruins Control Point and they were a breeze. You are so right when you say, don't judge by the numbers alone. This plays like its hitting harder than the numbers would suggest.

Try a belstone piece for regen
I can't even unlock gunner bc I legit tried 5 different times to do the basilisk objective on normal & I always end up unaliving him B4 I can destroy all armor. I gave up trying even tho I know gunner is probably the specialization to go with for a better DPS build

No it looks not same as striker. Striker with grupo and saska hit average 1M dmg on body shot. 1.35M on head
close range + dont miss a head either play with laser targeting with smg and you will do 400 k damage with 1.2k RPM not worth torturing yourself with head poping and praying for stacks to be up , but hey we all play how we feel is best for us no hate

It's not the build all the time, it's the player. You can have an amazing build and still be an absolute turd. On literally every single legendary I play I'm always doing the most damage, most kills, and most revives. And thats whether I run 2 million armor or less than a mill
You keep trying to defend it against stryker but its okay to not have quite as much dps as stryker because nothing should, the highest dps should always have no other survivability and survival options should be able to have dps but not as much as the max, this is why build diversity is cool
People are fussy and need the explanation as to most people, damage is the only thing that matters.
Ive been running somethin similar for a bit now. I use the backpack with Hunter Killer chest. With dual linked laser, one with Flatline and one obviously being the shotgun!
Why vigilance when you are playing so up close getting stacks with the shotgun makes no sense to me

Headshots to pulse is needed with this gun but My aim is absolute $hit, can i use the technician drone that comes with the sharpshooter specialization to pulse NPC's ?
Yes sure or use technician spec for the laser pointer to auto pulse.

Yes sharpshooter drone or different AR with long underbarrel with techy. Can't stack on skill proxies regardless with HB.
Backpack talent is constantly lost when you get hit... companion would be a better choice imo.

@@ElaeDabaeby my man we have a lot of bonus armor and a shield. If the enemies hit the bonus armor or the shield we don’t loose vigilance.

I was thinking, if you're doing only slightly more dmg than striker with blue core HB, then wtf does your Striker even look like, then you showed it, LMAO.
I had a PVE player who was legendary player and could take on 4 professional DZ players all at once. He just never dies. But when he joined us in a PVE legendary mission Manning Zoo and Tidal Basin, he just kept dying with that DZ gear. I kicked him out of my team after I realise he just let the team down. I thought DZ players were god. But those PVE legendary missions showed me he was so horrible as a team player and his DZ gear sucks balls.
50k less than striker?? A meta striker build can hit upwards of 1.5 million headshot crits (and am not even 700 shd), so ur doing less than 50% dmg of a meta striker build with the 700k crits. Not saying ur build is bad or non functional, just thought that ur claim of “slightly less dmg than striker” is WAY too exaggerated.
I literally demonstrated this in the video so no I have not over exaggerated. I don’t think you understand how this game works in relation to having more reds on a build, your 1.5 million does not apply here unfortunately. You will not hit 1.5 with 5 blues my man you will not I can promise you that. Heartbreaker on a full red can also hit those numbers.

gave it a try and that build is just useless but yeah that build kinda just gets messed up on leg mode so back to my skills build lol
but this build has a bad downside once the buff is full form using the shotty you will never gain anymore bonus armor you would have to let it fall off to then re-build it. Its the one problem i hate about this set so iv tryed to make it better by changing all the blues to red and changed the mask to coyote and still feels weak in group settting

A shield is just another tool in the toolkit to use as needed … this build isn’t even built around it … he was using it situationally … you can run and gun with this just fine for most content if that’s more of your style … an older classic build that is tried and true …
So using a shield as cover and or using cover in division is normal no?
Using a shield for cover or using a wall for cover is the same thing. Play style isn’t built around those even though they help out so I say the build is a win.
Weird! My stats are a tad higher than yours, exact same build. But I only hit for 830k in the shooting range whereas you're in the 900k. And my weapon is at expertise 23. Which is much higher than yours. Was at the same distance, max stacks...etc. I tried removing and reequipping the gear, same result. I am guessing you did the "damage yourself" option? When I do that I am a tad under a million a crit.

Getting St Elmo's has been a pain in the ass. I hate that is so hard after everyone was just given one and I get punished for not playing that specific season
