There was a part of me that wanted some kind of closure or explanation from him but I have accepted that I no longer need to hear what he has to say and have made peace with the fact that this connection isn’t meant to be. Despite the intense feelings we have for each other, things feel like we’d have to move mountains in order to get us back to how we were. I’m trying to detach emotionally from this connection with the hopes of moving on and finding happiness. I do not feel anger or hate towards him or need an apology at this point.

The key component that was missing was respect ... he felt when he got upset it was cool to be verbally abusive... and then saying sorry ...then doing it again ... over and over... doing it for miniscule situations...a person will get tired .
