Man, this album was a masterpiece in metalcore, even in metal in general. Its a shame they didn't get with it the recognition they should have had. Such an evolved and elegant musical work, and a class about how to use riffs and lyrics properly together in metalcore composition. Absolute mindblower. I still listen to them.

@@Dismal626 Personally I think both bands make great music. I didn't even discover TOTA until I found out that they were both the same band but under different names. My friend saw them open up for Ice Nine Kills back in 2019 and then I found out the guitarist was Ricky from Hawk/TOTA. Listened to some of TOTA and they also made killer stuff as well. The thing I like about Hawk alone is the lyricism and their topics about real sh*t especially on the only EP that they made back in 2020.

it never gets old playing little shows like this when your a big or even a huge band cause that way you get to play for the places in between those huge shows so everyone gets a show
I guess Grant was lucky because he only had to mic his bass and snare, but TOTA should be playing at like Download Fest and be touring all over the world. Their too amazing to be playing a gig at a bowling alley for like 50, maybe a 100 people. TOTA come to 'Sconnie!
Hope you caught their UK tour with Miss May I, The Word Alive and We Came as Romans Honestly. The other bands were good but TotA was the best by far. 🤘

You can pay attention to the instruments on TH-cam videos. Metal gigs are to have fun and really get into the music and atmosphere. Crowds like this bore the shit out of me too... That's my opinion anyway.

Agreed, i think part of it had to do with grant being in the band, because after he left the album after wasn't as good
Oh well at least we have Hawk now which is just as good if not a better band than TOTA... Plus Ricky is also shredding in INK now as well🔥🔥🔥
