Omgggg 💀 I told myself when I saw the thumbnail I wasn’t going to feel bad for you but I totally do 🥺 I really like the ogx coconut oil as a pre shampoo treatment and it’s changed my hair to be much stronger and moisturized. I know there are studies on coconut oil repairing damaged hair so you could give that a shot. You can leave it on overnight.
At cosmetology school I dyed my hair "Rocket Fire Red" and when it started fading, I was over the red. My teacher warned me to NOT bleach my hair, but of course, I did. I had to bleach it a LOT! Afterward, my hair was back to my beloved blonde, BUT my hair was coming out. When wet it was like wet cotton candy and super fragile. I went to JCPenney salon and bought Keraphix treatment. I used it that night and went back to school the next day. My teacher could not believe it. It totally saved my hair.
i actually had an experience like this, but with a colour remover i made myself comprised mostly of baking soda and dandruff shampoo. i was still very new to hair dyeing at that time and desperately trying to remove a blue stain that just wouldn't budge and ended up adding what was most definitely FAR too much baking soda into my mix (i might also have added dish soap but i can't quite remember) my result was exactly the same as yours - unbelievably dry, dry, dry, crusty, tangly, completely unmanageable hair (it also gave me abysmal dandruff for weeks). it really did feel like i still had the mixture in my hair, dry and scratchy. i thought my hair was completely ruined and i'd have to grow it out and chop it all off. but i couldn't shake how it really felt like some dry residue left in my hair, so i kept washing it with clarifying shampoo daily and deep conditioning and it eventually brought my hair back to normal. the extreme drying no doubt left permanent damage but it was a huge relief to be able to get a brush through it again. i don't know anything about this product or it's contents, but i can only guess it has a similar method of stripping the pigment from the hair based on your experience. thanks for sharing as i like shrine and this would definitely have been a product i'd have picked up otherwise
The SAME thing g happened to my hair after a bleach bath from a hair stylist... it felt like a forgotten dusty old barbie doll with nasty matted hair. A brush, comb nor my fingers could not go through my hair😢 I'm so sorry this happened to you!
I had the EXACT same experience with a hair color remover from one and only made for vivids ! it smelled awful and made my eyes tear up even before applying it. The remover also made NO difference in my color removal and the worst part was how it wrecked my hair :( it was never the same after that ! I've pretty much have had to spend over a year growing that out and cutting it :( ...you need some protein treatments and moisture back in there !
OMG Aislinn I'm so sorry for you, truly. Even though you say you don't care if your hair is falling out, THAT IS NOT OKAY and it sucks I hope a new haircut will save the day❤❤❤❤

I did the same thing in April this year. But with bleach. My crown melted off. The front wasn’t as bad. But I couldn’t get my fingers through it. I have used EVERYTHING to damaged hair and have had 4 cuts I think now. It’s finally feeling better.
This reminds me of when I did hair modeling and they did this to my WHOLE HEAD. it felt like my hair was matting together and like you have hairspray that just won't come out. It's almost dry, sticky, and dry. It's horrible. I sincerely feel for you
I have always hated the qhole shrine range I bought the colour drops when they first came out i literally put a whole bottle in and it came out pastel pink and lilac awful awful if you want a colour to stay and actually be bright definitely recommend manic panic or directions
Yo. Girl. I feel your frustration. Do I ever feel it. They took my ovaries last year, and I'm an awful hormonal mess, it seems like every single day is just one disaster after another, and just freaking nothing goes right anymore. I've had decent luck with Rusk Elimin8. It's for oxidative color, but I did have luck with it on direct pigments (Overtone - the rich colors, not pastel). It also worked really well on a demi I put on my hair. I did still have to go over it with a bleach wash, but it was very gentle, and it made the bleach wash easier/shorter time on hair. I'm so sorry this happened to your poor hair, but I can't thank you enough for trying to product so we don't have to. Thank you for your service, Ma'am
Ohhhh girl!!! I'm so sorry that happened to you! Thank you for sharing this so your followers will know not to use this product. I just hate it for you. 😢😢😢
Oh so I used the shwartzkopf one you suggested on black and bright pink hair. It removed it all!! I am so shocked. But glad I only had to bleach my roots ☺️ thanks for your videos 💖
I've been using using 20 vol bleach over and over to remove leftover color every time I bleach my roots for the past like 5-6 times and I've had zero breakage or falling out. So I guess Shrine products are impressive in a way. This ineffective with this much damage like they need an award or something
So I stopped watching this halfway through watched the hair bleach then the cut and came back. The hair trauma is real all I want to do is again remind you Aislinn you are stunning. Im so mad at this brand. Im triggered with you but luckily luckily I know now the story ends in perfection ❤❤❤❤
Yeah I made the mistake of trying it a few weeks ago now my hair is crunchy and won't hold any kinda color so I'm stuck with trimming my hair back over and over 😢
Hey beautiful Aislinn! I’m soooo sorry that product did that to your hair!! 😢 I lose hair on the daily, but to lose it like that…I’d be so mad! Your humor and sarcasm in this video is awesome 😂 I can’t wait to see how you cut your hair!!!!! 😃 I know it’ll look amazing!! Big hugs my friend 🤗 Love you!
Oh my god, I did a DDL a week ago even thought I KNEW I shouldn’t and my hair have been breaking off. I feel this pain! K18 has been my go to when my hair feels that shitty. Good luck!
I just used this and watched your video to check if I'm right to freak out or if I'm the problem. My hair is SO DRY. It felt weird after I rinsed out the Shrine and so far I've: - shampooed with a gentle clarifying shampoo to get it out - reshampooed with a really moisturising shampoo - conditioned with a moisturising conditioner - left a conditioning hair mask on for over two hours - put a different more expensive hair mask on for an hour today - covered it with leave in spray conditioner and hair serum It's still insanely dry. This is worse than any time I've ever bleached it
Aislinn, you’re gorgeous and I’m so sorry this happened to you 🖤 In all seriousness, you need to send this to Shrine as no product mixed with conditioner should do this to your hair 😮 I know with filming schedules that this probably happened a little while ago but, you could see your mood deteriorate and I can’t imagine how this made you feel. It’s one thing for it to happen when you know it could but, for something parading itself as a “gentle hair remover” it must have been a shock. Sending love and hugs 🖤🖤
How dare they sell a product like this!! I would be contacting their customer service! It’s more damaging than bleach with no bleach in it!! Since your last video of the bleach recovery products you tried, I purchased them all and my hair is feeling better than ever, for these not to work on the Shrine crap is unbelievable, that says how bad a product it really is. Thanks for sharing and probably saving others from using this crap product. 💜💙💚
"Its supposed to be super gentle on your hair :) "
*nervously glances at title of the video*
Yooo the fact there was NO DEVELOPER and it totally ruined your hair is insane.
That’s what I’m thinking, like…. How????

Color Remover: Challenge accepted.
I did the same thing in April this year. But with bleach. My crown melted off. The front wasn’t as bad. But I couldn’t get my fingers through it. I have used EVERYTHING to damaged hair and have had 4 cuts I think now. It’s finally feeling better.
😢 try something shaggy like a wollet (wolf+mullet)
This reminds me of when I did hair modeling and they did this to my WHOLE HEAD. it felt like my hair was matting together and like you have hairspray that just won't come out. It's almost dry, sticky, and dry. It's horrible.
I sincerely feel for you
I used this and I had about an 8th of my hair literally break off in clumps. They need to stop selling it!!!
I have always hated the qhole shrine range
I bought the colour drops when they first came out i literally put a whole bottle in and it came out pastel pink and lilac awful awful if you want a colour to stay and actually be bright definitely recommend manic panic or directions
12:49 "i started my period today" i am so sorry you had to have this happen to you on the same day 😬😂❤ love your humour though!
girl if you decide to bleach the copper side please buy the olaplex n1 and n2 kit so you won't fry your hair !!! I can't wait to see your hair changes
It might be time for a cute bang moment queen im so sorry this happened to you I was freaking out for you the whole video 😭
I would definitely suggest using Curlsmith Bond Curl Rehab Salve. Took my damaged hair to a whole new level of feeling healthy
Yo.
Try the joico inner joi hydrate leave in. I swear its the best lightweight leave in ive tried.
Also their kbond 20 is chefs kiss. And because its lab made protein you cant over protienize the hair
Ohhhh girl!!! I'm so sorry that happened to you! Thank you for sharing this so your followers will know not to use this product. I just hate it for you. 😢😢😢
Girlllll 😢 I was feeling your pain. You popped off and I am hereeeee for it ❤
Oh so I used the shwartzkopf one you suggested on black and bright pink hair.
They need to issue you a formal apology. It doesn't even have bleach in it and it did THAT?
So I stopped watching this halfway through watched the hair bleach then the cut and came back. The hair trauma is real all I want to do is again remind you Aislinn you are stunning. Im so mad at this brand. Im triggered with you but luckily luckily I know now the story ends in perfection ❤❤❤❤
This is insane! I vote for a shaggy Mullet.
Good luck!
In the end it does not matter, you are simply gorgeous! You could run some neutralizer through to seal the cuticle.
Omg. Ouch. 🖤💕 I swear it made the green come back too. Oh no. What is that??
oh no girl I want to CRY for you!!! I'm so sorry :(
I was literally gagging as you were brushing your hair 😭
I just used this and watched your video to check if I'm right to freak out or if I'm the problem. My hair is SO DRY. It felt weird after I rinsed out the Shrine and so far I've:
- shampooed with a gentle clarifying shampoo to get it out
- reshampooed with a really moisturising shampoo
- conditioned with a moisturising conditioner
- left a conditioning hair mask on for over two hours
- put a different more expensive hair mask on for an hour today
- covered it with leave in spray conditioner and hair serum
It's still insanely dry. This is worse than any time I've ever bleached it
I have had SO many people have the exact same experience as us! It’s ridiculous
Wooooowwww this is crazy!! A “super gentle and conditioning” formula my foot
Girl your passive aggressive reaction 😂😂😂
Thank you for sacrificing your hair to save ours! We love you Aislinn!
Aislinn, you’re gorgeous and I’m so sorry this happened to you 🖤
In all seriousness, you need to send this to Shrine as no product mixed with conditioner should do this to your hair 😮
I know with filming schedules that this probably happened a little while ago but, you could see your mood deteriorate and I can’t imagine how this made you feel. It’s one thing for it to happen when you know it could but, for something parading itself as a “gentle hair remover” it must have been a shock.
Sending love and hugs 🖤🖤
I hope you can fix this with some face framing layers or something 😢.
