I don't have the heroic version of Reap. So there's another strategy I am using to pretty great success. I've noticed some TH-camrs using the 2nd rune of vital strike. I tried it myself and it worked wonders. Reason being that skill does a huge amount of damage and has an almost instant animation. So what you could do is target the arm your hunters aren't targeting, shadow step the dragon's skill and instantly kill the arm as the hunters kill the other arm, breaking the boss. It's so easy to time because it kills the arm from full almost every single time. (30k attack + heroic rune). I was able to get 3 shadow steps breaks on the boss in the first minute without any retries today. I think reap is better if you're not that good at timing shadow steps. But if your hunters got enough damage to instant burst one arm, vital strike is better because it allows you to have full control over when the boss break since you're the one breaking the 2nd arm. And from my experience, you actually get more breaks over the fight this way, so more damage from your hunters too.
@@PayneBlade nah Payne yours better for f2p. 30k attack is too much for most of the f2p. Not having good Artifacts or legendary set with bad luck, gems etc. It will take some time to get 30k attack
@@MHR-REXmy left ones mostly +1 on attack% and +2/3 for crit damage. Resulting in 23k. Before changing up was like 25k if not mistaken with a7 plum + a1 thetis/moonshadow Need around 7k till 30k attack.. damn life hard for f2p
@@vonreiji3859 having ssr dupes won't give you more attack, it will give you total power. A0 ssr = A5 ssr have same attack at level 100. I guess A6-A10 give additional attack%. So only way to get more is with Artifact and attack% tier 4 gems
What no one never say about this strategy, is that if your hunters don’t deal enough damage, your results are completely dudu. Of course A5 cha on light day is doing this great.
@@haast09trust me it's doable. I hit almost every shadow step usually but today was my first day using reap on pod and after a few tries I got the hang of it and hit the head 4 or 5 times. usually every third attack by the dragon was when I'd used reap. You got this ✊

Its still not hard to get 1b, the only hard day is fire and dark unless you have built up charlotte and harper. Wind is super easy as well cuz sjw can deal a lot more dmg cuz of ww. Just takes some practice to get shadow steps
Real can be an issue, I’ve spent a very small amount of money on this and the amount of times I’ve been killed out of the reap move can’t be understated, I play on iPhone 13 PM and I will deadass be killed while reap is happening 😂
can i give you a little advice? i do love Reap and i use it (even tho my friends dont like it lol) but there's also another good skill for light dragon to get shadowsteps and dmg (at least for me) Last time i used the dagger toss skill with the light rune (yeah i have 2 legendary runes there so the dmg is much higher) but basically i would dodge and use the skill right away. Its so strong that it destroys the arm instantly as soon as you dodged, so you'll have time to shadowstep Indeed Reap is a safer option, but since i run elemental weakness, i find the dagger toss skill better for the light dmg

Bad news. Bad news is.. My score is still almost 300m even with this strat, I used different skill runes and still almost 300m in a single run just like before of my PODs. The amount of time just to get a perfect run is horrendous and even till this day my scores didn't even pass 300m. It's like every minute I only do One Shadow step on the HEAD. This is horrendous. it's not skill issue, ITS DAMAGE ISSUE
Quick question I was playing fores the encore boss and when he puts his shield on maylin doesn't remove it with her skill is that a bug or is that how it's supposed to be?

They dun provide shadow authority but their skills itself have buffs and debuffs that will help your team, do note that the 5th skill unlocked thru upgrading to elite knight have an atk buff but it’s only for the shadow using that skill as the skill states the user which is the shadow
Does dps% shown in shadow step actually amplify the total output or its just extra dps..... For example without shadow step ult dps is 10m and after stepping does that 10m amplify with that shadow step %.... So 10m into 460% ..means 460m...?🤔

Instantly added 350 million to my high score and hit 870 mil overall with both teams with this. I'm getting 250+ with Sung alone. Im using a high level vital strike legendary, the one that boosts attack, with heroic reap and it's nuts. And I'm very lucky with my runes as f2p I know
im a f2p player , but i dont like this . the pod has lost all its sence now with these tricks , now a unskilled dolphin can kill skilled f2ps rank easily , i was griding before but now what who has more advancements and gear definitly gonna be high , pod is not just about scoring 1b for rewards its for grinding too with skills which is not gonna work now .

Why hate POD, it's literally the best content in terms of time spent/rewards, especially after the buff for rewards. Literally 10 mins a day unless you sweat and retry a lot. If there's anything to hate as F2P, it's gates/mining, 100x times worse.

But the dragon's head comes down way too slowly after breaking him
So most of the times my SS disappears even before his head comes down

It's because there's a seasonal reset, now is 3rd or 4th season so it make sense if your support discontinued 3times if u don't extended it 🤔
The problem is that my light team breaks the boss right before it uses a skill so there's nothing to dodge on lol

Counter is casting the reap skill as the dragon does a move and u will activate shadow step and the DMG skill
