Hi, Harry! I don't know if you'll notice this but I hope you do. At 16:02 you have mentioned that maybe you may consider staying in the philippines if you'll find a developed island. I don't know if you have heard of Subic Bay but I do hope you'll check it. It's about 100km away from Manila and about 60km more or less from the mouth of the Metro (not sure) It's a former American base and a nature-inclined city. You are strictly not allowed to cut trees in there unless if you have a permit. So sometimes, there are roads there where you can see monkeys crossing. The cost of living there is, of course, somewhat expensive but It's a city where its vibe and environment is disciplined, clean and peaceful. It has gated communities full of trees, condos, hotels, resorts, safari, malls, duty frees and a lot more. Though it is not an island, in about an hour or 2-hr motorbike rides, you can visit beautiful beaches on Zambales. I can't describe it enough but maybe, you can consider searching for it thru the net and make a visit, too. Or you can stay just outside the bay where it is cheaper.

The word "lechon" generally refers to roasted pig, but the word is also used to describe the nanner of cooking, i.e. roasting using a skewer being rotated over fire or embers. Thus you might refer to chicken cooked this way as chicken lechon, or in local language lechon manok.

BTW, the Philippines has so many vloggers and there are developed places out there, or can have easier access to them, so it could work if you decided to return and stay longer. Anyway, I believe foreigners can buy condos here. Maybe check out Tambuli Seaside Living there in Cebu (search it here on youtube.). Their condos look pretty nice and the beach is good, though not spectacular. I'm sure there are more online if you search.

But honestly, it’s rich of history, you got developed areas ( IT park, osmena blvd, srp) and you can be in a white warm water beaches in 40 mins ( without traffic tho) 😂

Actually Becoming Filipino decided to stay in Ph for good and bought a beach house in Davao. You may check his channel. The beach in front of his house is stunning, so peaceful and relaxing. I think he’s got pretty good Internet connection and I know some expat vbloggers in Siargao too. I think there are many beautiful Islands in Philippines that have decent Internet connection.

You might want to try Panglao, Bohol. It has one of the best beaches in the country. It’s only 20-30 minutes from the city.

That roasted chicken is the equivalent of rotisserie chicken sold in most grocery stores like costco and Safeway. The difference is it is cooked with real charcoal and with some herbs stuffed inside the chicken to make it more savory.

I recommend that you guys try Pink Beach in northern Samar. It's an island with pink sand. Friendly people there too. It's pretty uncommon for tourists yet. A good opportunity for vloggers.

check out iloilo city or bacolod city. they've got good internet infrastructure and they 're very accessible to beautiful mountains and beaches. they're just actually just a boat ride away from cebu island.
Try visit Siargao and explore the island beaches, river and water falls ...Alegria beach, Magpopongko rock pool & tak tak falls...before going to boracay, el nido and coron island hopping tours
