- Uli Kusch är en välkänd tysk trummis som spelat i bland annat Helloween, Gamma Ray, Holy Moses och Masterplan.
MVT Ung / Linus Höglind fångade in honom när han gästade Motala.
Vi får även se när Göran Wahlsten, som är en av världens största fan av Uli, visa upp sin skivsamling.

Ulrich Uli Kusch, född 11 mars 1967 i Aachen i Tyskland, är en tysk trumslagare, tidigare medlem i grupperna Gamma Ray, Helloween och Masterplan. Kusch blev under sin tid i Helloween en viktig låtskrivare för bandet.
He is one of the best musicians of all time on metal.

Oh yeah! Uli is one of the best. When I started to play drums he was the inspirer for me. I think most of drummers and just funs would be glad if he return to the stage and show us his big talent.
Agree Carlos! He has been my idol since i was a boy. I Had him on Facebook and we talked a bit. But now hes gone again. Best drummer in the world. Just love him!
Yeah Uli always been open to fans. I met him once and dropped a few emails just before Symfonia started I hope it would ea good project... Than Uli has gone out of social media..

I don't know the band with whom he is playing there (sounds quite cool).
But I see Gamma Ray's Power Plant tour decoration on the back of the stage as well as Land Of The Free II on the sides of the stage. Remembering Gamma Ray selling those things circa 2010 I believe this band purchased the decoration. Tell me if I'm mistaken.
Hey Martin, Uli played with the Gamma Ray/Helloween coverband "Kaj Hansons Orkester" from Sweden. The backdrop is owned by the arranger of this concert namely Micke of TPL Records who is also a huge Helloween/Gamma Ray fan and owns a massive collection of their stuff.

I never knew he played this Helloween songs recently... I didn't see any recent footage of him live... is he touring?
Man! What a great drummer, so under-rated. I wonder why he couldnt keep up with any of the projects he participated in.
As I remember he was the best drummer in Japan in 1996-97 or so.

He lives in Norway and is still doing music but for a hobby he is actually my fathers friend to and altos his oldest daughter is my sisters best friend

Was a shame Michael weikath fired him through and email.because grapow and him want to play more melodic,so I don't understand was the issue,Helloween sounds better melodic than Raw metal
That was no good choice via email, but the reasons were different. Watch some interviews with all of them.
No, it's the opposite. Grapow and Uli wanted something darker, and Helloween wanted something "happy", but that's not the main reason. Andi said recently that Grapow and Uli did some intrigues or something like this and he don't want contact with them anymore.
Paulo Felicio I know this too. Andi said that Uli didn't was fired but he choose to follow Grapow at MasterPlan project. So Andi respect Ulis decision but didn't uderstand the decision to left Helloween because Grapow is the principal fact of intrigue in the band, so there's no reason to Uli decides through finish his career on Helloween.
The situation on Helloween when he was the drummer wasn't good.
