You learned several things at this meeting. Russ was aware of the two missed meetings rule. Richard's loyalty is with Russ. Don is willing to fight to keep Russ on the council. The new Mayor is pushing forward regardless of Don and Russ , and she is not afraid to face either of them. Bravo Madam Mayor!

We here in El Campo Texas was like that twice but after a long hard fight we are about to celebrate our 120th year we went from The Camp to Pierce/Dodge City to El Campo Texas and now we have over 20,000 people. Once you get the corruption and illegal doings out of the town then it will grow and it will grow like a wild flower in spring. El Campo was just like Otter Creek in 1835 to 1900 and from 1905 to now its been growing I hope Otter Creek will do the same it's not the big city's that makes this country great it the small uncorrupes town that makes this country great and otter Creek is on the right path now
If Don wanted an application form, he should have asked at the previous meeting at which it was decided to invite resumes. Simples. Town should consider recovery action for monies negligently or purposely lost due to Mary's actions, and possibly the actions of councillors.
Mary might have been the clerk; but, as much as Don argues & wants to be heard, guarantee he knows much more than he's said! And Russ was the mayor, crooks hang together.

If a cut-off date has been set, can resumes be emailed to each council member? That way they weed out some of the people they may not want before they into meeting. That would save so much time for everyone. I did this for faculty at state institution I worked for.

I just love the Otter Creek Saga. Better than anything on TV! It is nice to see a town leadership willing to work with, and for the people as it should be (with the exception of 2 who remain to be a problem). Thanks for doing what you do Jeremy, and George.
That lady that says she wears a mask everywhere and that her husband , ex husband whatever was abusive so I ask where does she leave her daughter when she comes to the meetings. ANd why does Don always smile. Smiles when Theresa told him to get out if he did not want to help. OH BOY. lean on God
