    In Islam, everything is the creation of Allah, the celestial bodies glorify and praise Allah, and the Sun, Moon, and stars are the signs of Allah

    Islam encourages the study of Astronomy, and it is sometimes even necessary eg timing of Salat, beginning of new months

    "At the Battle of Nahrawan, an astrologer told Ali it's not the right time to fight according to the calculations & positioning of the stars, & that he should wait a few hours in order to gain victory. Ali immediately put him in his place, went & destroyed the Khawarij, & returned successful. Ali showed us that you cannot live this way. Allah is the All-Powerful; not the stars, the Moon, & the Sun."
