Maybe the best amp for acoustic guitars I've ever played and heard. You plug your guitar in and think: f**k! What is this? Where comes the sound from? It's an unbelievable natural sound, deep and bright and everything and it is true: it is your guitar - louder. As we tested it my friends and I had smiles in our faces and felt like young boys who got a christmas present they've been waiting for a few years.
This amp (120) is amazing. Just played my first solo gig with it last night. Crystal clear sounds on both guitar and vocals. Powerful enough to replace my full pa in most solo gig situations. Very impressed. I highly recommend it.
Is it possible to connect headphone? I do live streaming and I can't play with the volume on sometimes. I'm planning to get one.plzz reply me.thank you.
Sold my AER Compact 60 a few years ago, now with a new D-28 Reimagined rekindling my interest in acoustic gigs, was about to shell out £850 for a new one. But then this - how can I not try one, especially if this fella uses them. Even without trying, £349 is a steal. Doesn't seem to have the AER gig bag, but that hardly matters
Thank you for having sharing Mr. Gomm's rundown of this amp. How large a venue would the Sonnet 60 handle before you'd need to start looking at sending a line out through a PA? Also, how many dB should I expect it to push out without distorting?
That would be my question too Ian 👍 Obviously, I’m not playing pubs at the moment but when it happens again I would like an alternative to my current set up. Tbh .. I was looking at the Sonnet 120
Looks like he’s going DI out of the first amp into the mic channel on the second amp to use them both? I have one and am considering buying another one to use like this for solo acoustic gigs. No PA required!
Looking to buy the sonnet but can’t understand why someone would buy the 60 over the 120? All the dealerships around me only seem to stock the 60 but on paper the 120 tickets more boxes?
are there any demos of this amp online i need to buy one. The 2 ive been looking at are the AER 60 and an amp called Acus acoustic amplifiers, your not getting better than that
can you play this amp on the street, on battery ? And if so, does it use external (duracell type) or is that an internal rechargeable (computer types) ? thank's for your answers and keep the good work @Blackstar Amplification
Thanks for your comment Casey! The 120W also features a 1x8 + tweeter, anti-feedback and an effects loop for each channel! If you'd like to compare the models further please follow the link to our website, hope this has helped! 😊 www.blackstaramps.com/uk/ranges/sonnet
@@Blackstaramps it's amazing. All of Jon's stuff is. Im buying a sonnet amp as soon as I get my tax money back actually too lol Edit: Finally ordered mine Edit 2: I couldn't have picked a better amp. Im in love with this thing. I love how real and natural it sounds. I create so much and it makes me a better musician now. I will never get rid of this amp! If you are on the fence about buying this, please buy it... you will not regret it!
Brilliant

@@ZimboRai it does not have a headphone out.
@@MikaelLewisify can't we connect through bluetooth headphone. And thankx for ur reply.
@@ZimboRai no. You can connect a Bluetooth device to play through the amp, but the amp doesn’t transmit Bluetooth out.
Wow need to try these out!
Great review
I bought the 60, and it’s stunning!!
Glad you like it 🙏
Can we use headphone in this amp?
Checkoing you out on Apple Music. Good Music. 💯💯🙏🙏🎼🎼🎸🎸
Fishman Loudbox 100 has done the trick for me, for years.

Lowden is the best sounding acoustics when mic’d. Such a pleasure to play. I use a Fender SFX 2 amp which I love. Very curious about the Blackstar.
Pero esas lowden cuestan un webo y la mitad del otro

Wow, i always use my HT 5R when I play my acoustic guitar and it sounds great, I gotta try this amp.
Would the 120 model handle a small .. maybe 50 people bit noisy pub/bar ?

Trying to decide between the 60 or 120. Is the 120 worth the extra $180? Why would someone prefer the 60 over the 120?

Dual 48v phantom power on the 120 also, there are none on the 60, in case that matters to you and your current mics/performance setup
They are not all "Crap" I know pro classical guitarists who use AER & Roland, I have not found any who are playing thro these amps ..,yet!
Can't believe he got away with playing the intro to Cocoon months before it's release
How amazing is Cocoon? We adore Jon

Weight? Thanks.
I just bought one. It says 20 pounds on my tracking info... so it could be a little bit less. This is actually my first acoustic amp lol
@@metalfan4863 Thanks.
Shame he never did a demo
just talking, you wont sell amps like that
There are other videos where he demoed
No chorus, no purchasing!
You could use a pedal. Pedals are fun. A bit of a rabbit-hole though--once you start going down, it's hard to come back out of wonderland...
Too much bla bla
