Mone.. Fortuner is a ladder frame chassis based on the Toyota Hilux pickup truck… this one is a 7 seat crossover.. Body roll won’t be there in this one. But this can’t do off-roading like a ladder frame chassis.

I am an owner of 2024 model Tata Safari . The Vehicle has been giving incorrect fuel level readings since purchase.And We have been to our nearest dealer KVR Motos many times to resolve the issue and they have not been able to resolve it till today.
Coming from a Ford family for almost 14 years and waiting for the return of the Endeavour, which unfortunately did not happen, I decided to explore other options for a 6- or 7-seater car. After reading numerous user reviews and personally test-driving multiple vehicles, I finally chose the legendary Tata Safari.

When i was looking for a 7 seater, Safari did not have adas or 360 degree camera. Also too model orice was same xuv top model with AWD. So i got the top model ax7l dirsel AWD for on road 28.7L (now completed 20000+ in 1.5 years) at kochi. Waiting time was an issue. Otherwise i still think XUV 700 is more value for money than Safari. 3rd riw main issue is always the lack of knee support, hence only short peope or kida can sit for longer time. But when we vi fir film or other short trips we can even go upto 9 people in XUV as it has good width. Boot space is less, but slightly better than safari. Lacks slidung seciynd row and auto dimming rear view mirror and ventilated seats. Dual a/c, memory seats etc. are additional plus. (Don't know what all tata brought in now). Lane keep assist and high beam assist already there. Smart pilot assist is a food feature. Auto hold is useful in traffic. Lights area really good. Surround audion with 12 speakers also good, unless you are fan of too nosiy/ bass music.

Really liked the Safari. But my worry is resale value after 5 to 7 years for petrol/diesel vehicles . Spending 25 to 35 lakhs on a Car and getting no resale value is scary.

Bought tata nexon XM on 2019 and sold on 2023 at a total 12000kms on odometer.
Reason - After 2 years of use i have noticed rust on door pannels, boot door pannels, small small Bolt and nuts inside bonnet. Visited service centre many times during warranty period,and really felt worst service and customer support.
How much money lost ?
