This scene is so hilarious in context. Makoto nuked an entire valley because they ignored him lol.
Nah its way funnier than that if you read the manga first you find out they were gonna try to kill him regardless of what he said because the goddess teleported him there and thus they considered him a envoy for the goddess. Second he destroyed three armies in total in the crossfire the first two were the armies of the heros who were sent before him who teamed up to fight the demon kings army. Third the survivors of the battle were so badly traumatized they became hermits who live around newly formed lake that was the impact site from the mc's final attack. Fourth the area became mutated from the left over magic and developed a entirely new eco system as a result. And all of that world changing event happened because the goddess wanted him killed. He wasnt sent there to stop the battle he was sent there in hopes he would die.

So if that was 1/10 of one rings power, then this would be what? 60+ times stronger? but he thought it would be roughly 6 times.
@@NoraIconiq also, since that Day, Makoto became a Myth, basically getting equated to a being aching to an Angel of Death. Adding to the proposed mystery and wonder of him was the people misinterpreting and confusing his auto inverting armor and his soso average look. Not to mention that people who can Cast, Range, and Melee all at once is quite rare, and so people are confused on weather he was a swordaman, an Archer, or a Mage. And so, people described him differently forming the myth that he looks different defending on the viewer. XD combined with statements from basically unreliable narators, delusionals, have memory problems, and flat out insane makes his the Perfect Myth with all the unintentional mystery surrounding it. Seriously, the author of this LN IS A FREAKING GENIUS WORLD BUILDER. XD

After the events he is about to experience, he is basically "Screw this, i have enough of this world's BS" and actually pursue strength, to the point that the gods fear him now. 😅

A small hint is that in the following battle, Makoto alone accepted all three, including two demon generals. Makoto's magic power increased exponentially, and when Makoto fought Athena she had to get serious.

Apparently each of them had defensive items that were basically multiple layers of invincibility which is the only reason they survived. Her armor was destroyed saving her life and another magical item called the clay something that saved them as well, he only lost a leg but he's a dragon

That time Sophia already absorb the waterfall superior dragon as well as Lancer but she signed a contract with lancer to joint hands and absorb all the superior dragon before fighting the supreme leader of the superior dragons.
And in the further arcs, sophia will have a rematch between makoto, and she already have 4 superior dragons reside her, waterfall, lancer, doma (shadow dragon) and the flame (i forgot if this is the one but its the one who can fire laser something).
and she still lost? lol.

Remember that in the Superior Dragon hierarchy, Tomoe was number 2 as Shen, then when she formed her contract with our MC, she went higher and was close to Root. Mio was always a threat as the Black Calamity, then she went steps higher when she formed the contract, so all in all, Sophia and Lancer would be smears on the ground if those 2 came to Limia with him

She's level 920. The next 'highest' level adventurer is 444 and he cheated the evaluation. (Though there's some really bad power level issues later on in the novel it's more of a world building/side character issue as Makoto is consistently level 1 and completely OP.)

Also worth to be considered: Tomoe and Mio urged him to stop his meditation archery becasue they felt he was dying when he did that. So they stopped Makoto for a while to increase his mana reserves until 3 visitng gods told him to do the training again otherwise he might die

That's the point, he's a threat to everything. Almost everyone except Makoto's people will turn on him eventually, because he's a walking weapon of world destruction. Worse still is that Makoto is unaware of how much of a threat he is, as by the time he hears stories of his destructions, the story has become a myth.
@@ArcDragoon The only ones who actually realize how dangerous Makoto is are the Demons. They do their best to accomodate him and make him at least neutral. There is an interesting part in the novel that shows what alternative timelines could have existed: 1. Makoto allies with Tomoki to destroy the Demons which he did and then he turns on Tomoki to destroy the entire world to make the Goddess pay (with the badass line "I will keep killing you until morning"). 2. Makoto fights against Hibiki and he kills her comrades with a skill that emulates a micro wave 3. Makoto becomes the new Demon Lord but he looses Mio and Tomoe who were his lovers in that timeline 4. Just a short insight into Makoto's mind where he rages against everyone in that world
@Athrun82 Sairitz and the Advernturers of Origin as well know how much of a walking war zone Makoto is and that's why Sairitz is trying to keep him out of the politics of that world. If he ever gets involved in that, it will end horribly as each timeline essentially showed one thing: whichever side Makoto picks will win. No buts about it
@@qhayiyadantile3208 At first Laurel (the most "japanese" country) wants to abduct Makoto to their country and then isolate him so they can profit from his knowledge (like they did with countless other reincarnators) But Sairitz soon realizes that Makoto is a walking powerhouse (and that excludes his by then sizeable demi human army where one Alke is the equivalent of one hyuman army) Heck if he wanted he could have turned the labyrinth of the Origin adventurers into one huge pile of rubble
@Athrun82 yes I definitely remember her trying to get him on their side by means of emotional blackmail, but upon realizing that this will make her country one massive target for annihilation, she dropped that plan immediately and kept it to just asking for his help in certain matters. He's become the biggest minefield on that world.
Now I have 2 issues the first is the MC talking bull talking about they were messing with him lmao. Dude you only used 0.03% to first battle them I understand not wanting to harm them and not wanting to cause trouble but they asked for it. Then instead of using full power to just obliterate everything there he uses the 1/3rd power stored in the ring letting those 2 idiots live. Then 2nd issue is these 2 idiots instead of just licking their wounds and saying hey we almost got killed by a person we don't know well they talking about trying to kill someone that can't be killed and hasn't shown full power and the thing is now he is going to the academy only to get even stronger. Plus his manna has been locked to diffrent levels to keep it from leaking out. The man has literally infinite mana and these 2 fools think that they are going to kill him without even being able to put a dent in him one on or even 2 on one. Besides that the idiots fail to rember the female was nearly stripped of her damn flesh instead of just her clothes and the boy lost a leg instead of his life. To be honest if he used his full might there would be a 100 mile wide 30 miles deep lmao and they are talking about fighting him again. They are lucky to be alive yet in a hurry to die.
LN: As seasoned fighters they can tell he's an amateur and he's cheat concealing his magic power until he gets serious. However, he both appeared from the goddess's light indicating he's their enemy and Sophia has some small inkling of his strength by how his reaction time and toughness are abnormal. We are missing the telepathic dialog of how the duo come to the conclusion that they should kill him before he learns how to fight. (Sophia also has a cheat way to get stronger)

Granted, watching Makoto release the water spell equivalent of a nuclear bomb on them was fun, but I would have liked to see them (the animators) animate his descent feet first, like in the beginning, and then he just stands up and climbs out of the impact crater to confront Sophia and Mitsarugi again. Of course, that's not how it went in the light novel or manga, so they couldn't do it that way. But it would have been interesting to watch.
This is him when he isn’t even really at his strongest and doesn’t even care to be strong. It isn’t until later in the story where he’s like fuck this world and everyone’s bs where he obtains godlike power and beats the shit out of everyone, no contest.
It's too bad than Makoto doesn't have Close Quarters Fighting Techniques. He would have give Them a serious beatdown They never forget.

@@dolphintho9797 well i just re-read the manga and in the manga at least she doesnt understand what Makoto is saying mitsurugi does understand what makoto says so he translates to sophia and also in later parts of the battle Makoto starts using his writing magic to communicate with Sofia. But she never understand him with his voice.
