- Making your own minimalistic trial running shoes is not that difficult. In this video I show you how to assemble a pair of Alvar_Trail running shoes from the pattern soon to be available at www.alvartrail.se currently under construction, temporary site www.alvar.darlingdesign.se
Buenas en cuanto vende el patrón gracias
Incredible design! I’m a leather crafter curious about making shoes and boots, your pattern seems to be a great starting point.
These are beautifully made. Thank you for sharing your skill!
Holaaaaa!!!
Genial, vendes los patrones?
Cómo te los compro?
Gracias !!!
Just made a pair in quite thin goatskin, veg tanned and using a vibram newflex sole. Amazing feeling to run in them. Highly recommended. Weighing just over 140g per shoe it is probably the lightest running shoe around.
This is the video I was looking for. Many thanks!
Hello! Thanks for the great video and amazing patterns! Do you have an issues with the Aquilim 315, or find it needs a primer? And if you're adding an EVA midsole, can it work there as well? Thank you!
Hola. Estoy contactando con esta persona pero no tengo respuesta, por email, instagram..
Alguien sabe si esta activa la pagina web para comprar la talla del patron? O alguien lo ha comprado ?
Gracias!
Hello, I would like to purchase a pattern, but no one didn’t answer to me at your website. Is it a pattern comes to A4 printing format?
Cuánto valen y como comprarlas
This seems like a great set of instructions and really well laid out. I just bought your patterns and am excited to try making some shoes with these.

Amazing. Thanks for sharing this content.
great video bro. exactly what I was looking for
Hey buddy! Can you share the pattern of this model?
Thank you for this great tutorial!
I really like the way they turned out!
Is it ok to use a different material?
Buen trabajo, te felicito.
Un saludo de Argentina.
Hi Johan, really enjoyed the video tutorial. How's the shoes holding at the moment? How long before outsole wears out?
Really great video, the pattern looks very well done! Just a shame the sound is so low, can barely hear what you say.
Thank you, the video is clear and precise, thus, inspiring. Will get the design. Hope you get more likes and shares in the future 🙂
Hmm... Det är lite klurigt att luska ut hur du gör när du lyfter undan från synfältet hela tiden. Sedan saknas hur du gör håltagningen i plösen. Varför limmar du inte den?
What is the leather thickness?

Bought your pattern but printing out will be tricky. There is no instruction of what size paper the pattern should be printed on. Also the paper size seems to be giant, almost like a full newspaper size. Definitely can't be printed at home. Probably needs a professional printing service. Please clarify.
The info is on the website. It is possible to do on multiple standard sheets of paper.
With a standard printer at home
26:30 toungue stiching/ 28:26 front piece bumper 32:35 (thread 2.5 + 30cm) / back 36:06 + 37:55
18:30 tongue 26:00
I bought the pattern,so which size do I print it out?
24 by 36, I think, for imperial.
Please send me a free pair of your awesome running shoes in men's size 11. Thanks and stay safe.
You have the beginnings of a really awesome shoe here. Unfortunately I think this sole design is not suitable for softsoled/barefoot shoes. The shoe should project as little as possible from the side of the foot. Still I may give them a try just to learn from the process. Great work Johan! Thank you!
They look quite similar to Softstar Sawyers, which also have a sole that projects outwards. It's fine, and means that, unlike a lot of BF shoes, they don't have a sole that curves up at the side to create a lip around the foot and toes, and are hence less restrictive on toe splay.
You can always just hand-welt it on a barefoot last so it has a better shape. It’ll hug your feet a bit more too probably. More complicated though and not necessarily great for an easier DIY. I might try it that way and modify the insole so that it fits a bit better to my foot.
@@noahschatz9015 Isn't a welt the thing that is sticking out? I am not quite sure what you mean. I think I'll give this design a try anyway as it seems like the perfect project for learning the craft of shoemaking.
@@shoutattheskyall that really matters is the shoe is light as possible, follows the profile of your foot, does not construct your toes, and has minum padding/sole thickness. So for me I'm going to make the toe box a bit wider but besides that I think this a great design
@@MichaelBrown-wx6zq It certainly is a great. I was a little bit unfair with my comment. However, I still feel the worst part of this design is the welt sticking out. This soon becomes an issue when you walk off trail. The ground is not always even or firm so you inevitably will hit things with the welt and it will catch on things because you re using the whole shoe rather than only the sole. I may not be explaining this well but I have worn barefoot shoes for many years and found this to be a huge design error.

This is incredible! I’ve been looking for this kind of video for years ! ❤Thanks.
Hi!
Would you say hammering the two surfaces is more effective than clamping for 24 hours, for contact adhesion?
Great video!
Has someone the paper molds or has someone any idea about wherw to find it?
Amazing! The tool to make holes with is called a (hole) punch.

Где взять выкройки на эти ботинки?
Продаются на его сайте. Сейчас шью по ним
Very clever shoes design with great construction. I am ordering your pattern. Some suggestions: burnish the edges of the leather after cutting the parts out; cut a stitching groove. Certainly, neither are required, but you will have a higher quality finish and the burnished edges will have better water resistance. Fantastic job.
Can't hear you......Speak-UP Some......
are you whispering?
I can’t here U ?
