For Captain Marvel, I feel like to explain why she is so powerful they could have said that the blast which intially gave her powers allowed her to constantly absorb more cosmic energy. Then it would actually be plausible that she could maybe stand up against Thanos who had all infinity stones. It would also give a weakness that would make the character more interesting, like she could use all her energy in a final attack and have to slowly recharge it but she is weakened greatly for a couple days or something
You are shown this, instead of exposition for it. *PowerSposition* ? *It's called SHOW don't tell.* Just have to be observant which CinemaSins definitely is not. Here is what happens point by point. You can watch the film and observe each moment as follows.... 1) Danvers is attacked by energy blasts from Thanos ship. 2) She absorbs this energy and her power halo glows and increases. 3) Then she releases this energy *against* the ship. 4) That destroys the ship - fine - but she is no longer as powerful. 5) She fights Thanos and in fact is not as strong - but more importantly as cunning and ruthless as he is. 6) She had the Gauntlet - but Thanos blew up the Quantum Tunnel, and the result of the blast (and the interaction of the blast and gauntlet) - knocked the Gauntlet out of Danvers hand. 7) Now Thanos has the Gauntlet. She uses BOTH HER HANDS just to keep him from snapping his fingers. 8) While she is holding on to the Gauntlet she ABSORBs power off of it - just like what happened with the ship. 9) Now when Thanos hits her - *she doesn't even flinch* - Thanos is about to lose! 10) He recognizes what is happening. (CinemaSins and many viewer *still don't.* Again smart film - but not so bright members of audience in some cases). 11) Thanos pulls the power stone out of the Gauntlet - now Danvers power halo visibly decreases! 12) Thanos grimaces from the pain of the power stone which would likely disintegrate anyone else - he is now charged up with Infinite Power, easily and vastly more powerful than Danvers and he knocks her out. ^ All the ideas, meaning and fight logic are there in the film. It's just that *lazy* viewers don't have the attention span or attention to detail to understand anything. They literally want the film to stop and explain it to them, like Kindergarten teacher relating ABC's.
@@summertyme5748 Dude, get a life. Clearly this entertainment is not for you so just don't watch it. How can you have nothing better to do than keep coming back to the same video for a MONTH to criticize something that isn't even meant to be taken seriously?
I mean the point of the channel is mainly to make somewhat "meme" arguments. If he praised the film we'd be watching cinema wins. Obviously half of what he said can make sense if you look past the surface but that's against the whole point. And it's crazy you think you're the smart one 😂
@@summertyme5748Not only is that not what happens in Endgame, none of that power is even implied in her solo film. So, no, we don't need you to tell us anything about a character. We just need them to actually create and follow through on a character's arc.

I also wanna point out that unless everything is bolted down inside that lab, everything inside it is gonna look like a magnitude 10 earthquake passed by everytime that lab is picked up.
We’re in the endgame now. 0:11 Black Panther 16:33 Avengers: Infinity War 38:25 Ant-Man and the Wasp 56:14 Captain Marvel 1:12:14 Avengers: Endgame 1:35:23 Spider-Man: Far From Home
After Ross was healed, yes, they could've booted him out the door, but I'd like to think they didn't for the previous fact, that he actually didn't touch anything and did as he was told.
1:23:17 You missed one. The Master of the mystic arts creates a visual to explain something to Bruce, and somehow not-mystical-trained Bruce can interact with that visual like it's an AR interface.
Bonus Black Panther sin: M'Baku says "We're vegetarians", but also says "One of our fishermen found him by the river." M'Baku thinks fish are vegetables?
I'm pretty sure "we're vegetarians" refers to his specific tribe within wakanda. While the fisherman line was referring to a river tribe person and the "our" was because they're both wakandans
The scene with the sign that reads "WE WILL DEEP FRY YOUR KEBAB." is funny because Wanda and Vision are in Scotland. Scotland is famous for having one of the unhealthiest diets in the world, deep frying anything and everything, from deep fried spaghetti carbonara to deep fried Mars bars, and apparently deep fried kebabs, yummers.
19:43 I’m sick of all you TH-cam guys saying they didn’t show his spider sense until now. Omg DID YOU SEE CIVIL WAR? Are you sure? Cuz when Bucky chunked that equipment at Spider-man you can see his spider sense go off through his eyes, then he instinctively moved. His agility also relies on his Spider sense to a degree.
18:00. Tony and cap have the most experience in fighting other than thor but thor lost his hammer less than a week ago he's used to using it so this all makes sense
1:13:34 And that's coming from the guy who was fed up with Peter making pop culture references. And now he's doing it over the space dust of his dead comerades.
Ok. Peter was wearing the God Glasses, that instantly identified all the people on his bus, but they apparently didn't identify a FORMER STARK EMPLOYEE?
The 3 Spiderman solo films get progressively more and more ridiculous until the dam broke in No Way Home. I think MCU will use the 'spell' to 'forget the whole thing'.
its not that it didn’t recognize him, he never asked the glasses to reveal mysterions identity. so it most likely knew, he just never asked so it could tell him
3:50 So to answer your question - takeaway the hero juice and just address the question from the perspective of Kings and Princes. Kings often continue to hold their title until they die - even when their 'sons' usually actually lead the army and fight for the crown, since a senior citizen king is too old to continue in that capacity. Same here.... Panther Juice is just distracting you from what is a typical even cliche father king son warrior prince scenario.
Howard didn't steal that Vibranium. In the comics it was gifted to him by the then current king of Wakanda or T'Challa's grandfather. If you want to assume that, in the MCU, Wakanda remained largely in violate until the events depicted, then you could assume it was made from a chunk of the meteorite that fell outside of Wakanda.
@@lorzon I think their point was Jeremy said Claue was the only one who found Wakanda. And as Th3Birdman said, no, there *were* others. They just didn't live to tell about it
Yes. Great CG - yet he sins it. He also sins it because he is making a mistake - not understanding that Peter is wearing the Iron Spider Suit - which is why he can take the punch. And yes - CinemaSins has made a mistake, because they don’t always pay attention.
1:20:06 I actually loved the time-travel explanation in this movie. The past has already happened, if you go back in time you were already there the first time around, so everything you do in the past was already done by yourself before you time travelled in the first place. You can't have paradoxes because it all already happened, so you cant go back in time and kill your own grandpa because you already know that you'll fail just from being born in the first place
It's actually brilliant because it was devised by Quantum Physicists to answer the question of how time travel to the past could actually work. *You are the 1st person i've seen on this forum who actually showed any capacity to understand it.* 👍
@@summertyme5748 Thank you! I actually really love Quantum Physics and am planning on studying it (or astrophysics, haven't decided, might just do both). It's really interesting because it just... makes sense to me? Like time is a function of the universe so if you could look in from an outside perspective, everything that has happened, is happening, and will happen are technically taking place simultaneously. Like, we still have free will, but every decision you make, you've already made. Free will in a deterministic universe, isn't it beautiful?
Much of that is right. Which is better than Jeremy, but you miss it at this point: "Technically, them coming back to the avengers hq after their time travel, already means that they will succeed in defeating Thanos." No it doesn't. Remember that the MCU is a multiverse. Thanos at the end of the film is from another Universe. There is nothing preventing Thanos from winning the end of the film and resetting the multiverse from scratch. (all the Universes - including the one where the Ancient One debated Professor Hulk. In fact this kind of scenario is exactly what she feared)
This part... Like The Time Machine. Dude was tryna change the fact that his fiance died, and was completely ignoring that she was the catalyst for him building the machine that transported him back. His very use of the machine ensured that on each visit back died.
I feel like nobody else realizes this.. They've already said Asguardians heal automatically via their weapons esp Thor. It showed this twice. The first Thor movie he healed when Mojlnir went to his hand and Infinity War after taking the full force of the star, Tyrion said he needs the axe! cuz he heals through his weapons. Soooo Thor could've snapped his fingers and re-heal himself just wielding Stormbreaker instead of Banner-Hulk
3:40 T"Challa had the Black Panther powers taken away because he was fighting for the throne. He had to prove his worth in his own abilities. Plus, it would be unfair for someone to challenge him if he is more powerful than them.
But it doesn't make sense why he has to fight for it??? I mean in civil war he's very clearly black panther before his father died?? So I thought only the king had access to holding that mantle?? Idk
I love these videos. Everytime I watch a film now and something happens I hear that ding and in my head I'm saying things like "take a look at this cliche or hey survive this"
The scene where killmonger challenges t’challa for the throne literally explains why he’s able to do it. Yes it was after the ceremony but as the clearly explained in that scene, killmonger is from the royal family and has the right to challenge for the spot. So to answer the question, no anyone cannot just come challenge t’challa whenever.
Went back to the singular videos of all these movies to see if you just made a compilation out of old videos to cheat me out of a view, but y'all actually do work hard. Y'all have earned my loyalty lmao
And the whole point of his character arc is that he descends into being a vigilante after his character sees his whole family killed in front of him by a mad God in a cruel Universe. It's actually a great character arc when the Widow comes to save and show mercy on the killer, since that's exactly what he once did for her.
The Quantum Tunnel is the device that connects our Universe to the Quantum Realm - or the time machine. This device was invented by Hank in order to get Janet out, 30 years later. Janet didn't go into the 'Quantum Tunnel' = true because there wasn't one 30 years ago. The best way to understand what happened to Scott is just to watch what happened when Clint did the first experiment in time travel. He went back to his farm pre snap. He hears his daughter and calls out to her. His timer is set to auto-engage and bring him back after 1 minute. He grabs the baseball mitt and before his daughter can see him - he auto returns with it. Now imagine - the Quantum Tunnel was turned off before 1 minute - in our time. Imagine it was turned off for 5 years. When you turn it back on Clint would still come back in a minute - in his time. But 5 years will have passed in your time. That's what happened with Scott. Before his timer on the Quantum Tunnel side could auto return him - the snap happened, and someone turned the Quantum Tunnel off before they were snapped away [just like Fury paged Captain Marvel before he was snapped]. So when the rat [the rat is just a proxy for the butterfly effect - if you know what this is] tripped the on button and the QT turned back on, it automatically signaled into the Quantum Realm- 5 hours later in Quantum Realm time, but the fact is it was now 5 years later *in our time.* It's very clever, and....few people actually got it, I know Jeremy didn't.
34:44 _Gd damned that was a punch_ Should probably remove a sin for that. 😂 Remember - Parker wearing Iron Spider Suit. Otherwise you’re right - he goes splat and is finished.
The biggest problem I had with Ant Man was the inconsistency. They had to assume that Hank's wife would be dead after decades in the quantum realm. After all she had no food or water and only the air in her suit. They don't know at the time that time moves differently in the quantum realm. After Scott comes back out he says that 5 hours there equals 5 years here. So Pym's wife would've been gone for about a day. So why did she age 30 years?
You guys are never going to get it I suppose but Scott comes back in 5 hours of his time because that's when his timer was set to recall. He comes back in 5 years because because the Quantum Tunnel was turned off. If you send an email in 5 hours then that's when you send it. If the receiving end doesn't open their email for 5 years - then that's when they get it. The sad part is that as clear as this logic is - it's too hard for you, apparently.
19:22 _He wouldn't have waited until two ago weeks ago to turn it off_ Sorry but I don't follow you. So let me call you out on this - > Tell us exactly when Vision should turn off his transponder to satisfy your [nonexistent] logic? 1 week, 1 month, when and why? Yeah, ima wait for that......
I preface this with the fact i love CinemaSins. Small miss on the iron spider suit in endgame. tony had it ready to give to peter at the end of homecoming so it was already to go.
36:15 At least when Vision did this, Corvus died. The exact same thing happens in No Way Home when Goblin Stabs Tobey/Spiderman. But…he laughs it off and says -> *I’ve been stabbed before.* 😂
Do you not have a life? You have countless comments over the course of MONTHS defending the movies and trying desperately to explain plotholes to people who don't give a shit, like I get you have nothing else in your life besides marvel movies but jesus christ get a grip
Not captain marvel 😂 and alot of the stuff that follows is quite good, like loki, wanda vision, and moon knight, the movies have been pretty hit and miss tho
18:15 _He asks why Thanos needs his minions. Next scene he shows us why Thanos needed his minions._ 🤣 In fact they did succeed in finding Dr. Strange and bringing him to them, so his plan worked.
I just want to say for the sin in the Infinity War He gets weaker with every stone in the gauntlet Because before he got all the stones he was immensely strong
I don't get what's hard to understand about this. They strip T'Challa's powers so the fight for the title of king is a fair fight. He is still the black panther regardless. They just had to take his supernatural powers for the fight.
The thing is the test to become the chieftain of Wakanda and Black Panther is one and the same. T'Challa's became Black Panther because his father became too old. It is natural in many kingdoms for the "rightful successor" to take on the roles the predecessor can no longer perform. However, we find out that T'Challa was not the rightful successor after all. Having this ambiguous system for succession is a cause for instability for a country. For example, what if T'Challa refused to participate in the trial at the beginning of the movie and ascends to throne regardless? He's now an illegitimate leader. What if T'Challa loses, but he decides "he is still the black panther regradless" as you say? Wait, that actually did happened in the movie, but what if Killmonger was the good guy? All this makes Wakanda look very stupid.
@@inazuma3gou if T’challa wasn’t the rightful successor then who do you think it was? And as it was shown earlier when he fought m’baku, the loser has to yield or die. T’challa did neither therefore the battle continued when he returned. Killmonger was the illegitimate leader who was promoted to black panther prematurely since t’challa wasn’t actually dead.
@@smoove8125 T'challa was an illegitimate Black Panther who only became the leader in the Civil War due to nepotism. That is why he faced m'baku at the Warrior Falls to prove his legitimacy.
@@inazuma3gou no he already had the ring in civil war, he was the black Panther already. He fought m’baku because it is ritual combat to challenge the panther for their position. According to you he faced m’baku to prove legitimacy, so after he became the “legit king” why did he fight killmonger? Because it’s part of the ritual to challenge for it. If what you say is true then as the legitimate king there would be no need to fight killmonger since t’challa was king already.
@@smoove8125 When T'Chaka's died, T'Challa took the ring to fill a temporary role as a king. It was never meant to be permanent. That is why he fought m'baku to prove his legitimacy. He also fought killmonger because his legitimacy again was being questioned. "as the legitimate king there would be no need to fight killmonger since t’challa was king already." That's my point. If T'Challa was already the legitimate leader, he would have no need to fight m'baku or Killmonger.
When Kilmonger says he found panther claws, I'm pretty sure he meant claw marks instead of the actual claws since they also retract in the flashback. Though that still requires a sin because they didn't cover up the death in anyway. Also, one thing that's only recently been pointed out about Peter's Spidey sense is that it kicks in when there's danger.
Recently? Like 1963??? Anyway the filmmaking in No Way Home is completely broken in this regard. The fanboys invoke SpiderSense as an explanation of how Peter beats Dr. Strange, but at one point Parker’s physical body is floating in the air with Dr. Strange and Peter spouting ‘hmm we don’t know why this is happening’ dialog. 😂 The real answer is - we are giving Parker plot armor 1 billion so he can beat Dr. Strange. Later in the film Goblin lying on the ground - gets up - and stabs Tobey/Parker in the back and not any of the 3 Spidermen do anything about it. Andrew is just watching the whole thing😅. Also being impaled by Goblin has no effect - when it’s pretty obvious that the original script idea was that Goblin would finally kill (Tobey) SpiderMan and Tobey would rather die than kill. But the film is baby food for baby brains so easier to have him stabbed but then have no consequences from it. I’m like…DING, DING, DING, DING DING, watching the whole way through.
@@summertyme5748 beating doctor strange, Peter just understood the trigonometry of the mirror dimension better than Dr Strange knew what to expect, but yeah, Tobey's Spiderman getting stabbed was just shoehorned in for extra drama. It really served no purpose other than driving home how evil the goblin was. Though I do like the theory that he sensed it and let himself get stabbed, knowing it wouldn't be a fatal injury to make Tom Holand Spiderman know just how dedicated he was to the original plan but ultimately let him make the choice in the end.
29:35 if the stones are the stones of creation.. then the soul stone is what created the souls of life around the universe... aka Most Important stone.
Interesting idea. I think the main point which CinemaSins and its fans don't get, because they don't get anything that is above 3rd grade reader level - is that Thanos intended to snap - eliminate the stones so that his will could not be undone, and then die, because that's what he believes in. One of the reasons that CinemaSins can't understand this, is that they keep trying to make the character into a cartoon villain. Good examples of cartoon villain motivations are - DarkSeid in DC or Green Goblin in the MCU or Palpatine in Star Wars. They are obsessed with the heroes and beating them - to a degree that makes no sense. For example in Star Wars once Palpatine has conquered death - which is the premise of Rise of Skywalker - he should give ZERO FK's about Rey or Ren or anything they are doing. He does not need them, he doesn't need the galactic empire, [the storm troopers are laughable idiots of zero relevance to him]? He's an immortal God of unlimited power! lol. This kind of plot hole is normal for the audience so they don't notice. Thanos goal is to *balance the Cosmos by death* and then die, because that's what he believes in. And - that's exactly what he did.
@@summertyme5748 I think the main issue is that the production studios never look past the current movie for a path forward. Any longtime fan of the starwars universe know that old Palps had clones in labs scattered about the galaxy in the event he died to transfer his essence into. Hell in cannon Vader stumbles into one once. What we got with the last 3 movies was writers and directors that had zero respect for the cannon and wanted to have their fingerprints on the product. Now add to this changing directors between each movie and now you get fever dreams brought to the screen.

Ps. Thank y’all for all the entertainment you provide. Pps CinemaSins is giving future film writers a guide to the “unsinnable movie”.
Same here. I cant watch a movie without hearing the continuous "bing bing" of the sin counter in my head and far too often do I exclaim "Ho--ly CGI!" when something baffles me. Its hilarious and I sooo appreciate the channel, especially when the sins are mentioned and not yelled or sung. ;)
23:29 "how the fuck did that alien assassin sneak up on an android without being heard or seen or sensed?!" Isn't that the whole point of a assassin lol
1:40:00 To be fair, 'Boh' _is_ an amazing word. It has all the connotations of 'fuck', as in 'fuck off' 'fucking sucks' 'fuck this' etc, but it actually isn't an expletive or an insult. It's basically the onomatopeia of rolling your eyes at someone. It's the perfect line of being dismissive but not actually insulting someone past not wanting to put up with what shit they are trying you with today. It certainly deserves it's own little banter scene and we language nerds were very happy about it :D
You can change memories, it happens all the time. Everytime you remember something, you brain creates a copy of the memory and "stores" that instead. This is one of the reasons eyewitness are so unreliable, because our memories can not be trusted 😝
I’m going to have to sin the statement, “if the universe is infinite, or at least close to it ( 19:07 )”. Because anything that is not infinite is, by definition, infinitely far away from being infinite….
Here's another example - He says: _There's no gravity in outer space!_ Jeremy what do you think a space satellite is? Why does it 'revolve' around something external. Why does the moon orbit the earth?
I'd argue that Tom Holland's death-scene was acted so well, that in spite of our knowing that Peter Parker will be back, the scene STILL punches you in the feels. I've seen people die, irl. I cry every time I see Peter die in the Snap.
The scene was shot multiple times to convince Holland not to vogue. You are a 16 year old child in your father's arm's and you don't want to die. Some critics want Holland to act more like Tobey - a 28 year old man playing a teen age kid, unconvincingly in Spiderman 2.
He has to be frightened that he is dying - and confused because his dad can't save him...like a kid. The instinct of the actor is to be the Spiderman from Sony - who is actually a grown man pretending to be a kid who is really a grown man, which is a fundamental flaw in *all 3 of the Raimi movies.*
0:28 _Yeah but just the plant life of Africa_ Yeah but he didn't say that. He said the meteorite stuck Africa and effected the plant life. He didn't say *it didn't effect anything else* and moreover now we know it effected Talokan. Also the subtext from Wakanda Forever is that ancient myths are not always accurate: Okoye: _Those stories are burned in my head!_ Shuri: _Must be painful._ So - what are you sinning - again??
Antman 1: Quantum Realm so dangerous that there is no hope of surviving. Antman 3: Quantum Realm has gravity, heat, light OXYGEN, Bill Murray lol😂 and a Star Wars bar. Heck I was expecting HBO and internet at that point.
36:39 _Tony Survives this_ Yes, and moreover as the power stone eroded the nanobot shield it slowly destroyed the integrity of his entire suit. So what did Stark do for the next 5 years. He kept improving his suit to compensate for every failure, every lesson learned. In Endgame his suit no longer uses nanobots as shielding. Instead he generates a power shield (force field), to prevent that kind of attack from destroying armor. I love these two films Infinity War and Endgame for their attention to detail. This is something missing in most of phase IV.
25:13 _Find a planet, lay low_ ^ Yeah it's not like he has the space stone and is all-seeing, or will gain the mind stone and become all-knowing. Jeremy most of the time your "I have a better idea than the characters....are really dumb ideas" - you know this right?
"No one should have a Rickenbacker on display..." was all I needed to hear. My dream bass is a replica of Cliff's Rickenbacker 4001, but Jesus Christ, those things are really expensive
The 'Hail Hydra' elevator scene was also sad to a point: it was the death of all of Captain America's innocence. It's why they believed him and took the lie on trust, he's Cap, he doesn't LIE.
25:40 you found it unbelievable that Thanos could foresee Gamora finding out about his quest but 1:14:38 you found it unbelievable that Cap. Marvel didn't find out about Thanos? God CinemaSins make up your mind "Sin Bell"
He can also literally 'see' her as he has the space stone. The space stone when augmented by the power stone renders you potentially omniscient. [all seeing] When further augmented by the reality stone you effectively exist in multiple places at once and in multiple realities at the *same time.* In fact that is what you see when the Guardians encounter Thanos on KnoWhere. You see a pocket reality where KnoWhere has not been destroyed and Thanos does not have the reality stone yet. Gamora uses her GodSword and slits his throat. [and also in answer to Jeremy - she has more reason to believe this will work than Thor does with Stormbreaker - as Thanos does not simply kill Gamora and we know why he doesn't] Thanos bleeds out on the ground. But then a reality portal opens up and he steps through it. Unharmed. _Reality is what I want it to be._ So yes, he could see them, and know that they would likely come to him, as at this point - he knows that Gamora found the location of the soul stone because he captured Nebula and tortured her! Lastly if the Guardians had gone somewhere else - he'd follow them there too.
Also, some of these sins aren't sins... for example, the part about the T'Challa fighting for the mantle of King AFTER his father died and he was already the Black Panther. We LITERALLY just saw this play out in real time with the Prince of Wales and the Queen. Charles was "King Regent" until his coronation; as was T'Challa. Technically, Charles was "King," with all the responsibilities, but without the official investiture ceremony. The Black Panther thing was like the Queen/King passing on their duties to the Prince/Princess of Wales when they become more aged. The challenge was the "coronation;" in order to become the King in his own right, he had to undergo this test. Killmonger shows us what happens when a King beaten; he would have lost the throne immediately, because he'd be dead.
This is a guy who sinned a film for asking if Parker shot webs out of his rear - because Jeremy doesn’t know that that’s exactly what Spiders do. So….. 😂
I love these compilations. My son introduced me to CinemaSins years ago because I always pick apart the problems with movies.Funny tho, one sin in here that we took opposite sides on and he took the side of CinemaSins side. It was the fact that Ironma’s sheild wasn’t completely disintegrated by a shot from Thanos’ glove. He said, correctly it should not have been able to with stand it but I took the opposite position basically because there would be no. Movie )or any more movies) if Thanos could completely destroy everyone. Sometimes you just have to suspend disbelief. One major sin in Captain Marvek and I know many people will disagree, but in Agents of Sheild a major plot point is the Cree are enemies. For this reason the movie didnt work at all. They can say that Agents of Sheild isnt cannon but Colton was a well liked character and the series drew a lot of viewers. You cant just expect people to forget 7 years of watching favorite characters to all of a sudden embrace a frankly unlikeable character.
Actually it's your post that really doesn't make sense. Sorry. You can't say the MCU doesn't make sense because of Agents of Shield when Agents of Shield is not a part of the MCU. Note: That isn't a matter of opinion, it's a fact. MCU is a continuing story told by Marvel Studios. AOS is by ABC. The shows have completely different writers, who morever did not collaborate with one another and whose stories contradict each other. Last point: I liked Agents of Shield. Season 4 of that show is better *by far* than Phase 4 of the MCU. But I understand that I am watching COMPLETELY DIFFERENT stories. So sinning either one because they are not consistent with each other - does not make sense. You might as well sin Terminator because it's not consistent with Avatar.
19:48 _Homecoming, and Far from Home have problems.....No Way Home is a cluster fest._ But yeah Spider Sense exists- and we know it, so we don't need it re-explained anymore than we need to see uncle ben die again.
I just noticed something about the scene with the ancient one explaining about time breaking if a stone is removed, so surely the universe that Tony, cap and Scott are in after loki steals the tesseract would mean reality would've broken before they could've gone back in time to get the tesseract as time wouldn't exist?
For Captain Marvel, I feel like to explain why she is so powerful they could have said that the blast which intially gave her powers allowed her to constantly absorb more cosmic energy. Then it would actually be plausible that she could maybe stand up against Thanos who had all infinity stones. It would also give a weakness that would make the character more interesting, like she could use all her energy in a final attack and have to slowly recharge it but she is weakened greatly for a couple days or something
You are shown this, instead of exposition for it. *PowerSposition* ?
*It's called SHOW don't tell.*
Just have to be observant which CinemaSins definitely is not.

@@summertyme5748 Thank you! I actually really love Quantum Physics and am planning on studying it (or astrophysics, haven't decided, might just do both). 17 going on 18 is certainly still a child.
The reason Janet ages and Scott didn't was because he went into a quantum tunnel. Janet knew to stay away from them.
So when the rat [the rat is just a proxy for the butterfly effect - if you know what this is] tripped the on button and the QT turned back on, it automatically signaled into the Quantum Realm- 5 hours later in Quantum Realm time, but the fact is it was now 5 years later *in our time.*
It's very clever, and....few people actually got it, I know Jeremy didn't.
34:44 _Gd damned that was a punch_
Should probably remove a sin for that. 😂
Remember - Parker wearing Iron Spider Suit.
Lol because Michelle Pfieffer aged 30 yrs since the 80s
@@hiranom20 lol right she just doesn't age
You guys are never going to get it I suppose but Scott comes back in 5 hours of his time because that's when his timer was set to recall.
He comes back in 5 years because because the Quantum Tunnel was turned off.
If you send an email in 5 hours then that's when you send it.

Yesss I'm glad you said that! I got a little choked up no lie

@@summertyme5748 beating doctor strange, Peter just understood the trigonometry of the mirror dimension better than Dr Strange knew what to expect, but yeah, Tobey's Spiderman getting stabbed was just shoehorned in for extra drama. if the stones are the stones of creation.. then the soul stone is what created the souls of life around the universe... aka Most Important stone.
It is indeed the most important stone in the context of this story.
Thanos is the last of his race, being that he eliminates half of the life of each race the snap wouldn't kill him.

The 'Hail Hydra' elevator scene was also sad to a point: it was the death of all of Captain America's innocence. It's why they believed him and took the lie on trust, he's Cap, he doesn't LIE.
I lol'd so hard when you slipped 'find spock' in there ...genius! lmfao
36:16 You may or may not have forgot to mention that Vision ambushed this enemy via back stabbing the same way he was back stabbed.
Yup.
36:41 Take a closer look and you'll notice that energy beam was actually destroying Ironman's shield.
[all seeing]
When further augmented by the reality stone you effectively exist in multiple places at once and in multiple realities at the *same time.*
In fact that is what you see when the Guardians encounter Thanos on KnoWhere.
You see a pocket reality where KnoWhere has not been destroyed and Thanos does not have the reality stone yet.
Gamora uses her GodSword and slits his throat. [and also in answer to Jeremy - she has more reason to believe this will work than Thor does with Stormbreaker - as Thanos does not simply kill Gamora and we know why he doesn't]
Thanos bleeds out on the ground.
But then a reality portal opens up and he steps through it. Unharmed.
_Reality is what I want it to be._
So yes, he could see them, and know that they would likely come to him, as at this point - he knows that Gamora found the location of the soul stone because he captured Nebula and tortured her!
Lastly if the Guardians had gone somewhere else - he'd follow them there too.
1:45 _I literally can't see anything._
Hyperbolic use of the word literally. DING!
28:03 Tyrion Lannister fulfilled his dream of becoming a Giant.
The end montage was simply the funniest. Well done.
These are good fun. Please keep it up sir.
Out of the full 2 hour video compilation my fave joke is still when he sins her for speaking for "57 minutes" lol kills me EVERYTIME lol
1:52:12 looks like white sage for burning… but it’s doubtful that many people would know that offhand. I only know it because I Smudge everyday.
I would LOVE a Thanos movie!
0:32 as a nerd who enjoys mythology, Bast is indeed the Goddess of cats so is it really a sin? Maybe its just too much for everyone to understand
This is a guy who sinned a film for asking if Parker shot webs out of his rear - because Jeremy doesn’t know that that’s exactly what Spiders do. So….. 😂
@@summertyme5748he does, the sin is that it would be stupid assume Peter can too
i assumed the numbers when they show a location on Captain Marvel are universal coordinates, like latitude and longitude but for space.
Thanks!
How DARE you want Martin Freeman to not be in Black Panther ! He was one of the two Tolkien white guys in that movie !
Tolkien white guys! bonus points, my precious!
19:48 _Homecoming, and Far from Home have problems.....No Way Home is a cluster fest._
But yeah Spider Sense exists- and we know it, so we don't need it re-explained anymore than we need to see uncle ben die again.
Thank you for this video! 😁
I just noticed something about the scene with the ancient one explaining about time breaking if a stone is removed, so surely the universe that Tony, cap and Scott are in after loki steals the tesseract would mean reality would've broken before they could've gone back in time to get the tesseract as time wouldn't exist?
