Just found this channel but like the Avitar as I used to keep pythons boas and lizards like monitors and Green iguanas. I remember when my reticulated python escaped and had to knock on neighbours' doors as it was a row of terrace houses and ask them to keep a look out. It was going OK till a lady answered with a fear of snakes and freaked when she new it was about 9 feet long.

Its likely not going to be your elements if both are not working. Why not check the fuse

Okay, turns out, there is no fuse, problem was the control board... but, a year warranty from GE for hotpoint

Could you explain why continuity is not accurate?

It reads only certain ranges and you may not get a tone even though the item you’re testing is fine because It is outside the range that continuity can read
