A kid when he had his hey day, he was one good looking guy back in the day, "Lightening Strikes" one of the all time great hits of any decade since, a reminder of my all too short childhood during the 60s as I sigh..
I was thirteen years old when lighting striking again first came out in 1966 and love this song and had a huge crush on Lou Christie!

Great interview with the awesome Lou Christie. Such a gifted and talented man. I had no idea till recently he grew up in Pittsburgh ( not far from where I did ) and a full blooded Italian man. Lighnin' strikes is my all time favorite of his. A great entertainer who has been sharing his talent with us- his fans for 50+ years

He is the one of very few singers from his Era still standing and active. We have lost so many favorites.

Love Lou! And just was reminded by an old song called cherry hill park! I had no idea that was billy Joe royal! Another favorite of mine still kicking around performing! I’m so glad because this takes me back to happy times!
