Chris has used Michaels music videos as inspiration on many occasions.
Michael Jackson's musical output was stunted because of the time he was in but remains an untouchable catalogue.
Michael Jackson also reminded people of the injustices of our time which (for me) as an artist is absolutely necessary and Michael had people singing hooks to war song and Earth songs that "shouldn't" have been possible.
I don't think we HAVE to compare them but people don't acknowledge Michaels talents beyond music. He was a visionary & had people watching 10-20min short films.
He was an artist in more ways than music & his voice is 1 of 1.
