    Did y’all not hear him say he does inside drills? Your not a great inside fighter until you bend the rules. Elbows, low blows, head butts, forearms... my coach told me that he would teach me all those tactics once I turned pro. Y’all really soft fans for a combat sport. It’s called veteran tactics. He won the super six tournament with this style. Old heads probably love ward style.

    Inside fighting is the most versatile skill in boxing and Ward is one of the best in our generation.

    but but but stop holding, stop clinching, Kovalev and his fans cry so much.
    June 18th you will all disperse and cease to exist. How we like it.

    All negativity aside, what is the art of fighting on the inside and why is it so uncomfortable? What fighter is out right now that represents the best example of an inside fighter

    • @scipio2009
      @scipio2009 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Latino America Boxing, for the most part, is offensively about delivering your punches with full range, and infighting runs completely counter to that, in forcing the close distance, taking away most conventional space, and changing the types of tactics that would be effective.
      couldn't honestly tell you who the best infighter is, but Orlando Salido does a really good job, imo; shortens his shots all the way up, can create his own space on the inside, etc

      Be able to effectively find punching room on the inside where things gets messy and rough is a skill everyrhing is shorter and u HAVE TO FIND THE SPACW

    Work SISSY Sergey's body the same way Spence worked Brook's and he will quit just like Brook did.

    • @luisortizszimmerframe6933
      @luisortizszimmerframe6933 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Erm... If Spence had only punched Brook in the body he wouldn't have broken his eye socket - do you know how retarded your comment makes you appear?

    • @thekidzback344
      @thekidzback344 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Luis Ortiz's Zimmer Frame I think the inside work set up the head hence Spence vs brook. Brook don't like that inside fighting a bit like kovalev he likes to keep that range, grab jab and cross though

    • @luisortizszimmerframe6933
      @luisortizszimmerframe6933 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Fair point but the OP implied Brook quit because he didn't like getting hit to the body when in reality he didn't like having a broken eye socket and double vision...

  • @marpettwades7913

    C That's what I'm saying people that don't know boxing running there mouth. Sergey is not an inside fighter never have never will, he likes to use his length. Ward is A Known banger. There is a channel called beyond the punch that breaks down the fight. Sergey under hooks and head locks. Go watch and stop fooling urselfs.

    Rules Of Boxing "A violation of the following rules is considered a foul, and can result in a warning, point deduction, or disqualification by the referee: You cannot hit below the belt, hold, trip, kick, headbutt, wrestle, bite, spit on, or push your opponent. You cannot hit with your head, shoulder, forearm, or elbow." Rewatch Kovalev vs Ward 1 close, you will see that Ward initiated all the fouling. Also watch Ward vs Kessler, he headbutts and elbows his way to a win, in that fight. Andre Ward is the perfect example of, All Hype and No Fight! Judges Lie, People Lie, but Video Footage, Doesn't Lie!

    • @mataafa1
      @mataafa1 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you are right... however here is the grey area. Holding in the rules is defined as holding your opponent making no effort to punch... Ward therefore isn’t “holding” he’s tangled up or clinching and trying to work there... the rules allow for the chaos of fighting which it is chaotic.. your gonna tangle up however if your still trying to fight / punch then refs will 100% allow that work

    Ward grapples that's not clean inside fighting . Corrales vs Castillo is inside fighting

    • @kwameboakye5764
      @kwameboakye5764 7 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      Inside fighting isn't clean. There's grappling, jockeying for position, head control, locking of arms and of course body punching.

    • @sgbeaubrun26
      @sgbeaubrun26 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That was a great example. Clinching is part of inside fighting? No?

  • @hawkermustang
    @hawkermustang 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Ward don't know how to infight without cheating. He sets everything up with an intentional headbutt.

  • @restesbull7296
    @restesbull7296 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Watch Duran or Chavez. Basically don't watch Ward vs Bika or Ward vs Green. Stay busy fighters who get in close and attack from all angles, only leaning/pushing on their opponent but not holding with either arm, dipping below the waist, hitting low (round after round), darting their heads straight up into their opponents chest hoping to billy goat 🐐 them. Fouling to force your opponent to clinch and hold in return making it look like he's initiating everything. It's just an eye sore

    • @mataafa1
      @mataafa1 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      But that is exactly old school inside fighting it is head positions shoulder positions underhooks over hooks twisting moving etc etc etc it isn’t pretty but if the opponent in front of you is fighting this way it is YOUR job as the opposing fighter to find a way to fight back and be effective

      Koran Bred How about Kessler. I guess he sucks too. You merely labelling Froch as a C plus fighters only makes your abysmal knowledge of boxing more apparent. A man who destroyed Taylor. A man who destroyed Bute who Ward supposedly "ducked". He beat Pascal. Man I can go on. Quit hating kid
