0:27 well so far im still completely hooked on jb fishing. So its a special lure that allows us to explore the greatest variety of nuances in a bass's instincts. Im still completely hooked sir
The lure companies like to sell lots of lures so they have 50 different colors in each size, even with just 3 or 4 colors of each size you end up with a bunch of lures because each size will have floating, suspending and countdown sinking type, then they have jointed ones and ones that rattle, the hardest part is deciding which one to buy, the plastic worms are the same way with all the different colors and sizes
I always listen to Randy when he puts out a jerkbait video……until he tells me to tie it on 6 or 8 lb test. After hearing all the things you have to do to fish a jerkbait, I now know why FFS is so popular. Fishing a jerkbait will drive you to buy FFS. I did catch a fish last week on a jerkbait using Randy’s rod and reel suggestions (minus the 8 lb test). I am hoping continued success is headed my way with this lure.
@kasonf2176 I cant get out and fish very often yet so trying to learn how to jekbait fish would be hard with very few fishing trips per winter. But even when i have more time i can only fish from the bank so locating bass seems very difficult. It would be fun to try but my circumstances make it more difficult.
Randy, I have limited experience with jerk bait fishing. No fish caught so far. Any insights to fishing with a soft jerk bait which has been a better success lure for me?
7 minutes of saying its hard to fish a jerk bait. How about a 3 minute video packed with 3 specific "patterns" discussing season, water, color, & cadence.
Randy great video ! Thanks !
Thanks Randy
you are the best.
I've had great luck with the Rick clunn jerkbaits.
Great info!!

You try over complicated everything
I throw mine on just a rod and reel and have about. 4 colors and throw them where ever and catch fish

Exactly. When they’re on it, they’re on it! When theyre not biting it you just don’t get many bites no matter what color or cadence

With how randy describes jerkbait fishing in this video it would make me never want to fish a jerkbait if i was new to fishing.
For me, his description makes me want to master it even more. I prefer to be challenged, though.
