  • The video shows how the printer is received with the air bungs installed and with tissue under the print head. It also shows what to do in order to be able to remove the bungs and tissue before turning the printer on.

    Great video.
I have one of these printers I purchased a good few years ago second hand from someone I also bought a heat press from. I’m now looking at using it, as he has done, for sublimation printing (with sub inks) for garment printing.
The ink cartridges in already have used sub ink in there but as they’ve been stood for some time, I think it might be best to empty these and clean them, or replace them with fresh cartridges to avoid any printing issues.
The printer has turned on so I’m suspecting there should be no reason it won’t work/print.
How do I clean the actual print heads once the cartridges are removed and what cleaning solutions would you recommend?
    Thank you

Get a new set of cartridges and use the printer driver maintenance functions to perform a head clean. Do 2 head cleans one after the other and leave for 30/60 mins and then print out a nozzle test from the maintenance tab. This should tell you what the condition of the printhead is like. Use a set of compatibles, approx £6.00 or fill the refillable cartridges that you have to carry out the head cleans. I hope this helps, Mike

@@hobbyprint4976 thanks for the reply Mike, much appreciated.
The cartridges I managed to empty what was left in there out and clean them out with hot water before refilling them. Problem now is when I put the cartridges back in the printer it says they aren’t recognised so unsure what to do now. As mentioned in other videos, there’s no reset hole on the chip and I don’t have a reset device.
What wood you recommend in this instance please?
The printer is the WF2010 and the cartridges are the exact same ones as I’m your video 🤷🏼‍♂️
