It's fascinating to see how much being able to 3D print parts has added to scratch building. I really adds to your tool kit. Beforehand you would have needed to borrow parts from a tank kit or four for those tracks. Great build and an interesting idea to use a tram.

    • @ScaleModelGeek

The great thing about 3d printing is once you have the object, one can print as many as needed. I've lost count on how many times I've found an awesome greeblie only to find out... I don't have enough. Thanks for watching.

This was really cool. I would've added some kind of restraining strap to the drums to keep them in place when the vehicle was in motion -- even fully-loaded and weighed-down, the vibration would cause them to slide around all over the place.

Have a sub, can't wait to see what you come up with next!
If you would like a suggestion: I think it should be more dirty, especially the floors inside of the vehicle. Outsides should be beat up, some bullet holes and burn marks, more mud and dirt, especially since it is on threads so it would make a lot of mess. Some paper and twigs for the ground and stuff like that...
One thing I learned with lvl/env design is that small things like that make a huge difference when going for realism! Also, lots of reference photos, especially for details!
    Anyways, have a good one!

My only suggestion is to add Rust to the tracks. They appear to be Soviet metal tracks, and tend to accumulate surface rust. Otherwise, great video.

I did give them a wash of a rust colour but it just wasn't enough. Thanks for watching

    Love the build!
    For recommandations:
Did you know I have a 3D print webshop...i am designing my own conversion kits for existing models.
At the moment I am working on a Zombie Apocalypce M113 kit.
    Based on the EM113A2 REV.
If you are interested, let me know. We can work something out.

The conversions sound really cool. Can you DM a link to the webshop?
