I found black and red rabbit leeches with black crystal flash that sparkled red are my best pike fly they will take it when its just sitting on the bottom

I've tied flies by wrapping rabbit strips... This is way easier than cutting clumps of the fibers. WHY did I neve think of cutting my craft fur in strips as well? Brilliant! LOL... do you cut a taper on the end of the strip? I also would like clarification of whether you cut the strips along the length of the "carpet" or across??? Nice fly.
