I attended many , many matches during the original 9 in a row under Jock Stein . The fans back then could see that the lack of investment in new players would ultimately cost us 10 in a row in the 74/75 season . Stein fought a losing battle then , and now Brendan is experiencing the same indifference from this board . Hopefully it's not too late to make the much needed new recruitment .

I will never understand why Liverpool fans disrespect Rodgers so much , he might not have been the best manager they've ever had but he came a lot closer to winning the PL than any managers over the last 20 years that they've had. The suarez argument is quite stupid considering there isn't many players in the world u could have replaced him with even if u had all the money in the world. U would think Rodgers had gotten Liverpool relegated by the way they speak of him but it's just that premier league mentality

When Celtic beat Barcelona at home a few years ago they were underdogs. But they were underdogs with a fighting chance. How much of a chance would anyone give this current Celtic squad against Barcelona? Davie dodds has got a better chance of being on the front page of playboy.
Celtic have stood still while the rest of the league tried to improve. Edouard for 9mil is good but it’s the same team as last year, McGinn is the biggest mistake by far as he would have walked into that team regardless of broony or Ntcham. I can see rangers running them close this year but celts are still better in terms of squad depth ....all my opinion 👌🏻

Adamski Terranski I personally don’t blame him. He couldn’t have felt wanted by how Celtic behaved while at the same time Steve Bruce took him out to dinner personally and got the deal done quick. As for it being a dream to play for Celtic, I see that as being personal dreams v career ambitions. Like KT. Me as a guy on a sofa my only dream would be Celtic. Me as a professional footballer would develop other ambitions that can’t be achieved in Scotland.

Lustig is a fan favourite and has been a consistent enough performer, but he is poor now, not good enough. Anthony Ralston is a very promising young defender who I think could play for Celtic and Scotland for years. Oh and get Boyata out.

In terms of population (5/6 million people) to football fans attending matches, I am sure Scotland is actually right up there in the highest percentage in Europe.

Interesting,Well to some,that Liewells son is head scout at Man City. We KNOW Arzani isn't a Brendan signing. So why have we replaced John Parks,who unearthed a few QUALITY gems at a real low price,with a massive sell on value,Wanyama,Virgil,Forster etc,with Lee Congerton,He was SHOCKING at Sundrland and blew millions of their money,and is out looking to bring in midfielders,yet it's staring ALL OF US in the face where our Achilles heel is,surely he could've found a dominant centre half with the funds we have available,John Terry was on a free,if he can cut it in the Championship he can cut it up here for a season or two to bring on young Ajer and steady the defence. Just an example,but there MUST be others out there we could bring in. This strategy of WAITING to see IF we qualify for the 4th place Cup,BEFORE signing players is surely backwards thinking. 2 monumental errors already and the season has hardly begun. Extreme complacency in sitting back thinking McGinn was in the bag.£2.5m plus Scott Allan (who has no future at Celtic anyway) would have sealed the deal. Plus knocking back an incredìble £9m offer from Fulham (what are they on?) for that useless dud Boyata. Both really poor decisions.Now its a mad scramble to appease Rodgers from the board by paying well over the odds for average players before the window closes.

@@GarngadGamers Commper cant be judged as hes permanently crocked and Hendry has been thrown in 2 years too early, not the boys fault , the managers fault.Boyata has played plenty of games and has made a barrowload of basic errors and at 27 he is not going to improve any.
