The answers are linked to makeup products. They pick their answer, and without even knowing, they decide what makeup product I HAVE to use!!! She probably had classes. I think even online you can find pronunciation classes. And with she being all about her career for a long time she probably took them :)

I know! She's very fluent! You know I'm pretty sure she lived here in the states for a short period of time. I think she was out in LA. That helps. She obviously must really love a lot about our country and culture (Yes America has culture)

In Poland we celebrate Christmas fo 3 days - from 24th to 26th of December, the main celebration takes place on the 24th and then we have two more days off, which we spend together :)
Same for Germany
Same in Lithuania in 24th its Christmas Eve and then on 25th and on 26th is Christmas

In Germany it’s kind of like Nikkie said. We have one day on the 24th where most stores close around 2pm, it's called "Heiligabend", which means holy evening, then the 25th and 26th as whole Christmas days, where everything is closed.
The difference to the Netherlands and the US is, that we give presents on the evening of 24th. People with big families like mine often do a part of the family a day, so for some it’s 3 days of giving gifts, receiving them and eating a whole lot of food😋
The "Uitdaging" (or "Herausforderung“ as we say) is to be able to walk after 3 days of Christmas meals 🥴.

In Norway, we use "romjul" for the period from Christmas day until New Year's Eve, they're the quiet days, where shops are closed (Christmas day and 2nd day of Christmas), you visit family and friends you don't see often etc... When your family is spread all over the country though, getting to see everyone can definitely be a proper UITDAGING ! :'D

In Croatia, the 26th of December is called Štefanje, which is basically the day of Saint Stephan. It's not commercialized like Boxing Day. Some people do work, but it is considered a part of Christmas the same as the 24th. It's my grandad's name day, so we always spend the day at his and grandmas house. That kind of ends the Christmas holidays, but our tree is up till the 6th of January, when it's the Epiphany or Three Kings Day and that is a non-working day and the official ending.
Same here in Alaska, but the 6th-7th of Jan is for certain Alaskan Native Americans celebrated with their Russian orthodox influence, so they do Russian Christmas then.
What is a name day?
@@goosegirl941 it is the day of a saint that carries the same name as you. Many people gave their children names after the saints, whose day it was, so your birthday and your name day were on the same day. Even my friends non-religious parents called her Barbara bc she was born on Saint Barbara, even though we are barely in our 20's. That is an old tradition and isn't really done today and one reason was also, that you could not baptize your child with a name that wasn't in the catholic calendar, so a saints name. Also, many times you have more than one saint with your name. Then the first date AFTER the date you were baptized is your name day. I was baptized on the 24th of June and Saint Laura is on the 17th of June and the 10th of August, so my name day is on the 10th of August.

I thought the Uitdaging was abit rigged not in the sense that they knew what was going on but in the sense that you know them really well so know which one to associate with your favourite makeup products

In Australia we have Boxing Day but it’s not really another Christmas it’s just a day for sales and it goes for a few days I think up to a week

Beginning in the 1800’s it was tradition in Britain to give Christmas Boxes to servants and the poor. And since Britain and Australia have always been closely connected I think it’s prob why you celebrate it.

I live in Puerto Rico, and we have the longest Christmas in the world! We have Navidad December 25 and Los Reyes Magos on January 6. After this we have Las Octavitas which ends on January 14. 😁😁 One month and a half of “CHRISTMAS” starting from Thanksgiving.

In Trinidad (West Indies/Caribbean) we have Boxing day also and it's a national holiday.

To answer your question at the beginning, the United States does not have a second day of Christmas. We have the day before: Christmas Eve, then actual Christmas, and that’s the end of the holiday

the biggest uitdaging for my tia is being married to a british man, which means crazy holiday traditions. We celebrate christmas, and then the rest of the month we continue to celebrate until January 6th, which is Los Santo Reyes (The Three Kings). Our tradition is to keep everything up till then, and then we can take everything down the last week of January. This is a uitdaging for my uncle, since his tradition is take everything Christmas related out or else Father Christmas will be mad lmao. They manage to make it work tho hah
