So I guess the UPC is the only denomination with the truth? Wow. Lord help us. I must not have the truth anymore either. Heaven must not be as big as I thought. This is the exact reason people leave the UPC. The judgement and condemnation of other churches and people is mind blowing. The arrogance of thinking you all are the only ones going to Heaven is unbelievable. I think you will have a rude awaking coming one day. 🤦♂️
I’m what you call an Apostolic Pentecostal who was radically changed 07/31/05 as I repented at an altar & was gloriously filled with the Holy Ghost & baptized in the name of Jesus an hour or so later at the same service. I immediately flushed the drugs I was selling, the cursing left my lips, the crimes stopped, broke up with my new girl friend that same day when she didn’t believe my witness, accidentally fasted for almost 3 days because I was so blown away by what intimacy I had just experienced with THE TRUTH started witnessing to my neighbors, family friends & even nursing homes, coworkers on the streets & driving church van etc…The Truth is not a Doctrine, religion, denomination a favorite scripture that divides other believers from each other, the truth is not western Vs Eastern Christianity…The TRUTH is One PERSON: the Lord Jesus Christ. His Bride is BIGGER than our small limited understanding. If it were not in the Bible you wouldn’t think that Jesus of Nazareth would not go to the religious (rather rebuked them) but instead He went to the Sinners and the non religious. The Pharisees kept thinking they had ALL the doctrinal truth but the sinners admitted that they didn’t BUT were hungry for MORE change…self righteous people don’t feel they need MORE change, but that everybody else does. They’re not desperate for ALL The Truth because they are deceived into believing/teaching that they alone have a “MANopoly” on it. Well, time to get dressed, I am about to go to my “Apostolic” church (yes I’m still faithful to fellowship all these 18 years later, by God’s grace) but if my boss I’ve been trying to reach texts back in his sorrow I’ll skip “going to church” To go be the church by being Apostolic (signs, miracles, wonders, entire Bible doctrine, suffering…not “the theological titles”of a denominational groups that split racially back in the era where we should’ve United as a witness to the world of how we weren’t going to conform to the world.) Religious people follow Christians (Christianity) around them rather than Christ. You can “Go to church” and never/not “Come to Christ.” But if you go/come to Christ, you will be the church & abide in The Truth (Jesus) and ALL of what the Truth says is truth. Abide in The Truth. Knowing The Truth (Jesus) shall MAKE you free. Was Joseph Seymour & Charles Parham UPCI/Apostolic Pentecostals? They are considered the founders of Pentecostalism in America. Would they be saved?
