some players from this era and video, from a modern view, their skating is a little hampered and maybe the skill handling not so great.. forsberg has none of that, his skating and pucks skills looks like in the 2020s.

Never seen Lidstrom undressed like that in a game. Peter the Great really put on a show!
Indeed. Lidstrom made so few mistakes in his whole career and it probably hurt a little extra that it was Foppa.
There is a great Pavel Bure highlight where he undresses Lidstrom bad off the rush, usually find it in compilation vids though.
