Ali, you are the best in this tutorials! I flew with first three (type) helis you tested/trimed in this video and today because of your great videos bought Belt cpv2. As you said in one of your videos "first sim then real heli" I'm spendiing most of my free time on sim and I'm have a great fun. Many thanks! Vladica from Croatia
unlike your other videos this is one of the best ones you are actually teaching....sorry, but we already know you are a great pilot so this is a great compliment to your skills, hope to see more vids like this tutorials
Hi. I also have a v911. I understand that it's fairly normal for non-coaxial helicopters to want to pull ('slide' or ''roll') left or right when taking off (depends on the direction of rotation of the blades) and also to spin slightly due to lag as the gyroscope takes over in countering the rotational force of the blades and adjusts or (in the case of the v911) spins up the tail rotor as the friction that was keeping the heli steady goes away. Mine requires input on take-off.
Ali your a very talented person and pilot, someday I want to be half as good as you!!!! thanks for all the helpful information and keep up the awesome work !!!!
I got a shuttle plus 30 and ive taut myself everything and even set it up myself completely. I learnt to hover and initially messed with the trims but even if the sticks arn't perfectly in trim I can keep a reasonable hover, even in highish winds. I might attempt to trim if I get a perfectly still air which is rare but there is also ground effect can make the helicopter move about. Practise is most important. Definately. ps i've also flown real ones which is quite an experience.
alishanmao thats was great, you have so much control great flight I feel better about my hover now... Great fly man you knowlage of ccpm must be amazing wish i could get you to train me on setting up my TX so complated....
I really liked your videos, I am a new RC pilot, who moved on from a syma 107, to a double horse 9100 (did not like this heli at all) and now a V911 and I have a Solo Pro 100D on the way, now that I have the dough. Want to get good on the V911 from WL Toys, then move on top the Solo pro 100D. Great instructions, thank you. If you could, explain all the functions in a 6CH TX please?
Agree with humanxf1. Need to set the rudder, aileron, and elevator trims to the center, turn the radio on and plug in the heli lipo and see if the swash plate is level. If not, then you need to adjust each servo's linkage..
Great videos for beginners! Trying to get an old Dragonfly 400 up in the air - as it came with no instructions whatsoever. Your 3-part series was a big help, but also trying to set the 10 slider buttons on the back of my Walkera-clone transmitter. Any ideas for those settings?
Hi Ali ang Maryam! your video tutorials are very helpfull especially to a begginer like me. i am now through with a 3channel coaxial and 4channel coaxial.. i can also fly much better in a 4 channel single rotor fixed pitch rc heli and i am planning to start flying a 6channel heli.....what model and brand can you recommend for me...thnks very much and more power.
kool, well i just orderd the walkera mini cp, with the devo 7 controller, how easy is it gonna be to fly it, will i have to set up the programing on the controller first, is it gonna be a hard one to fly??
hi ali, i need some help, pls tell me what is the difference between the hbk3 and the belt v2, i mean during flight, can u do 3d flight with them, what are the pros and cons of both of them, i can't choose
@alishanmao Well, these are all the controls according to the manual: A/B/C signal slider, L/R trim, Up/down analog, forward/backwards/left/right analog, on/off slider, power/charging indicator and a light thing that sends the signal to the heli. I have noticed that there is this little outlined square on the top right, but it can not be pressed or anything... I will take it to the store where I got it from(though it isn't from my city) and I will ask them to reset my gyro :).
hey dude i got a v911 4 channel fixed pich, so ho do i do a propoer take off?? i cant just throttle up and it will take off nice and stright?? do i have to apply input on the cyclicks??
I have a venom night ranger 2 and iam having alot of trouble gettting of the ground or when i do get it up in the air it will just speed of in all random directions then i panic and crash and usually break something and the trims seems to have hardly any effect. I dont know if the problem is me or the brand or type of the heli.
@alishanmao Oh, there doesn't seem to be such an option... I only have the Up, Down stick, the left-right/back-forward stick, on/off, A/B/C and the trim thing on my controller. Do I have to disassemble the thing or something?
hey i have the red mini helicpopter but i dont know the name can you tell me please? and when i turn on my remote and push the left trigger to the top the red leds start blinking and when i push the right trigger or the right trim wheel the others red leds start blinking. what does that mean?
walkera boy its a good heli i went from a 40 dollars shitty 4ch xedia 8859 where i had "TBE" and then the mini it was hard a first like 2 sevros the two cicrt boards and a landskid, tail boom broke due to crashs never the blades lol i just got the super cp since it was cheaper to buy a new one then parts after my backflip attemps but besides all that its good i just need time to learn right and not go for tricks
I just got a 3 channelled helicopter and sometimes when I press a direction on the right stick it goes in another direction and also when it is hovering it keeps spinning in circles...
OMG I have the same plane but I ran it into a wall and stripped a gear and I had to buy a new one and the one before that I demolished it in a ceiling fan I'm a wild flier

Hey Ali when you buy a Nitro Heli, you could try hovering that indoors hehehe :D
Very good! One day I will fly my Belt in the bathroom!
Excellent tutorial, very informative.. Thanks Ali
Thanks for the video, and the tip on constant input. I was always wondering why my helicopter ended up in another state when I nodded off... :)

A level swash plate helped on my esky lama V4 and balancing the blades... still needs trim and constant inout, but not as much.
I know this video is old, but this helped a lot. All this time I thought it was automatic:-D Trying to get ready for FPV.
Great videos my man....I used your advise, I have the trex450 and love it. I only have 2 helis and 1 plane so far but more are on the way.

do you have to land each time you set the trim or can you do it in the air thanks. Cheers

Thank you for that, i found an old helicopter in my house so lets try !
should you always land and set trim or can you set trim while in flight

thanks ali great vid
@alishanmao can you further explain the dangers of setting trim in flight
@alishanmao thanx it helped with my dh9100
Thanks Ali! Great help! :)
Berzilla... No u don't HAVE land. It just makes sure u don't crash while u have your thumb on the trim and not on the sticks. ;)
Thanks Ali!
Great, thank you very much!
