Sad he didn't experience really friendship but that is life. Some people think they have friend and in the end they don't.
His family was money first then the rest, maybe and I am saying maybe, that mentality has helped to this.

Being a good friend is a personality trait of certain individuals, not because they're the closest to you. Some of the best people I know, I barely see. But their moral virtues are so strong that they are good friends.

I can relate to that, after finding out how the real world works, that was the moment i decided to listen to my feelings, resulting in me ending up with 8 real and honest friends. The rest turned out to be rubbish and i'm glad i abandoned those....
8 is more than I had at the very peak. Now at 0 I see there are benefits to having friends, and benefits to having none. We just all have to hope that, however many friends we have, it's intentional, and not due to unwanted circumstance. I'm happy, and hope you are too.

To live is to die, this is why we are born, no more, no less, seeking understanding is paramount to being disappointed.
