    Fellas, when you're out in public or on social media, and you see an unambiguous blk wmn wearing her natural hair, PLEASE COMPLIMENT HER HAIR !!! We have to encourage more of this. It may not seem important, but it is. I always tell them "I like your hair" then I keep it moving. They will not say it, but SO many of our women are insecure about their hair. 😔🙏🏿✊🏿

      @@redhunnid5142 I Bear Witness! I've been told my hair was dry; By a relative/Uncle. He'd been comparing "NATURAL" hair which is DRY in an untreated state to glossed up/shined up wigs & weaves. THE SICKNESS in this nation is beyond me. Then I had a guy to tell me he were going to STOP seeing me because I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WITH MY HAIR. I mostly wore it in puffs during that time. I'M THANKFUL I DIDN'T ALLOW THAT TO KILL MY SPIRIT and I'm No Longer bound to those entities that "tried" VERY unsuccessfully to Break Me. 🙌🏾

    I only wore relaxers on and off for a total of 5 years…I am in my 40’s now. I currently go between wearing a TWA and a buzz cut. I feel confident although I don’t fit society’s “beauty standard.”

    So beautiful!!! I am proud to be natural. It took me NOTHING to loc my hair because I got tired of going to the salon. Lol The day the beautician had me waiting pass my scheduled appointment time and put someone else in front of me I called my mom and had her to come get me and that was the LAST time....that was 16 years ago now. I LOVE IT!! Tiph'arah you are so BEAUTIFUL inside and out!!! Love your journey!!!

      It's so sad and I've been asked sooooooooooo many times "IS MY HAIR REAL." I stopped putting chemicals in my hair back in 2008. I just keep it washed, conditioned, oiled, & moisturized.

    What a beautiful lady 😍 Same timing for me 2009 people would say mean things about my transition. My scalp would always break out midway after a perm. When I stopped processing my hair the irritation stopped. 14yrs 🎉 Mi nah eva goh bk.

    I did not have a choice I had to stop perming my hair as it dried out my scalp and I would get flakes huge flakes,it was best thing that happened but I wished I had never ever Permed it in the first place as now they are releasing the information that the endometriosis I suffered for years the perm was a contributing factor. In all honesty I did not care what people thought but the reactions were totally different perm vs non perm all I did was up my confidence level by knowing this was authentically a part of my original and unique me.
