    Does it matter which database name we use as long as its defined in the settings.py?

    Could you take another look at your comment regarding foreign keys to other app's data. I saw this snippet on StackOverflow (thanks andorov):
    from django.db import models
    from production import models as production_models
    class Car(models.Model):
    manufacturer = models.ForeignKey(production_models.Manufacturer)

    I might be late here, but why users is in different DB? isn't it different table only? All django apps are in same DB.

      i guess this hypothetical scenario is the main point of the tutorial 😅

    If I want to add extra fields for only Realtor user type, how can I do that?

    • @bryanbrkic
      @bryanbrkic  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You could have a RealtorProfile model with a OneToOneField tied to the user model, and this RealtorProfile data could get created when a realtor user gets created

    Is this course taught with Next.js?

    • @bryanbrkic
      @bryanbrkic  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There won't be a frontend framework with this course, it'll just be a backend API we'll develop just so the project isn't too long as there's quite a bit of logic involved with just a backend for this sort of thing

    Hi BD,
    Would you please release your ecommerce django and react tutorials on udemy?
    The reason is that, I only have the mean to pay in local currency. I do not have the mean
    to pay in hard currency.
    I really want to learn tutorials.
    Please take care and be safe from Covid-19.
    Thanks.
    I am Nyoman, from Bali, Indonesia
