Death penalty for gang rape is required.
It is already present. Post 2012, the punishments were expanded to include the death penalty. It is not just the punishment, but also the speed and efficiency of tracking down and punishing the culprits that matters. If a case trial lasts for 8 or 10 years, no victim would feel confident in the legal system. There should be separate fast track courts set up specifically to deal with rape cases, so that the hearing can be a continuous process. Just the fact that trials just keep getting adjourned to next over next dates harasses the victim and makes them less likely to report any crimes.
