I honestly play like gold players. Not bragging but i constantly top frag when playing with and against gold players yet i am silver cause usually every 5 matchs or so i get teammates who are toxic or soo bad that they cant even get 10 kills in the entire match. Anyone else has that problem?
Laktosfritt Yea lol the only issue is in bronze and silver if you are solid queuing which I used to do it took me a while to get out bc even when I get 30 kills many teammates are only getting 3-5 for the entire game smh which causes a loss
I just deranked from G1 to S2 just by losing two matches, while i reached G1 by carrying two matches consecutively. So yea the derank rate is very faster here is what i felt, and in both matches i lost i was with players way below my rank.

Something I can't recommend enough to players looking to improve is VOD review. I had to focus all my computer's processing power on recording and playing, but I saw a drastic improvement after looking for my own mistakes in a VOD
bro- i'm iron with good crosshair placement and i know valorant mechanics. then my teammates are so bad then the enemies are just like fake irons with a million headshots. I'm an unlucky iron.
Same Here I went from silver 3 to bronze 1 quickly thanks to shitty teammates . Now i am stuck in bronze because i get paired up with irons and bronze who i assume are deaf and mostly blind . I almost always carry but still end up losing the match.
thats not an excuse and that mentality and blaming teamates is whats keeping you in iron, when ranked first came out like 2 months ago i was placed iron 3 and solo queued to gold 2 , i have endured afks , saboteurs and shitty teammates but at the end of the day when i stopped blaming teamates and started focusing on improving myself , thats when i started ranking up
@@arfan4083 get kovaaks and practice a Playlist specifically tailored for valorant. Practice in kovaaks for at least one hour, then do a couple death matches to practice your crosshair placement, recoil control, and peeking until you feel confident. Then go into your games and shit on kids. This is what i did to go from silver 3 to plat 3.
In My rank placement i queue against gold and plat player, but my team is always lower rank compared to enemy team. In some games i will have 25 kills and manage to clutch few rounds but my team can never execute 4v2 if i die or some players will disconnect after 4 rounds having 0 kills causing my team to be 4v5.
I personally just got a game where my team started out 5v5 in first few rounds and I got lots of kills while 2 players got little to no kills at all and died almost every single round. No trash talk involved, but guess what? Those 2 players disconnected 5 rounds in leaving our team in a 3v5 situation. But I still played my heart out and thank god we managed to come back with only 3 players. My take from the experience is take the god damn ODIN. That gun is fuking busted but seems like very few players in low elo utilize it. I tried phantom and vandal in the past only to get a few kills and die constantly. But when I finally got myself an Odin, boy Im telling ya I won 3 consecutive ranked games (including the 3v5 one) with 2 games where I got mvp with 20-22 kills and only 8-10 deaths. Hope this helps
The most important hability in solo iron: being lucky and getting a team that actually knows that you can use utility in this game. Or, you know, a team that don’t afk, rage quit, troll, or (if ur extra lucky) a team that has at least one other member that is more than 10 years old.
Bro, people are so bad in iron that you could just outaim them for the most part. Play Reyna, kill their entire team and use your teammates as information gathering . For example, its good to see where the enemy team is even if your teammates die as at least they gave you info. If your aim and crosshair placement is good, you'll easily win
I used to play solo, and i wasn’t making any progress, i found 2 more guys in solo queue and been playing with them, things are going quite well and we are ranking up together.

Seak -_- you could technically just get screwed by matchmaking (if you solo queue) and always play on the losing team. You could argue that it’s easy to carry Iron players, but if you’ve only been in Iron you’ve only ever played with and against Iron players, making it hard to progress. I’m diamond, I know what I’m talking about. Don’t worry man, if you practice, you’ll start ranking up really fast.
For me it's a pattern, one day I get promoted to gold I and the next day I get demoted and then the next I get promoted. No joke it's been that exact pattern for 1 week.
It’s because you are going into matches as a solo and probably not talking and loosing but next round you talk and the pattern goes on and also crosshairs are bad at that level

Beside playing the game and logging in hours, what are some tips you can provide for us lower rank players to get better game sense.. Hey dude I wanted to say just don't grind comp you can play unrated too I got out from iron bye just playing a lot of unrated like 1 unrated can be a warm up if you just grind and grind you'll get hard stuck like you should take time to play the normal game too man don't try hard
I just wanted to pin point if u try to focus on the map then you get a bad habit initially of over looking the map because you start to think that map is more viable then the crosshire placement..(map has a delay of .3 to give the accurate information due to server latency and stuff)
Valorant ranking system is broken. In act 1 i was plat 1/2 and after act 2 started i got gold 1 at first and i dont mind but the problem is my teammate 2-3 of them are bronze and they dont even use their abilities at all especially sage. And bcos of that i deranked to silver. And now im thinking of creating a new account and starting from 0
me and my friend are stuck in bronze and silver because we consistently get queued with iron 1s who just started playing while the other team has all silver and gold. We also have no idea where we actually are in skill level because we keep getting demoted twice then promoted. also someone at riot thought that using arrows instead of numbers would work.
Solo Queue is still meh here, its rare that you get good team mates, otherwise you get people lower than rank and then the team game just doesn't happen. Forget about using comms and everything else.
@@Cavi587 I dont know, but at times i have had low rank guys and then i lose that match and next match i get people with same or little high rank, without even getting deranked. Many times i have had teammates with low rank even after a rank up. So really not sure how they are matchmaking
@@sagarmgandhi I assume that the game is not as popular in your country, which makes the matchmaking process harder. Sometimes it cant find a player that''s your rank so it has to put a lower or higher player just to fill the spot. It almost never happens across Europe or in the US, but in other parts of the world it might be an issue.
@@Cavi587 Its popular as there are already tons of CS GO players playing it, but your point is valid too as i found that many times i get people from different country + rank criteria too. Thats nice that you are getting players of similar ranks. We may have server in country by December and i think maybe after that the mm could be a little different.
Man I would expect Iron/Bronze to be low of the low, like people being bad at everything and just lollygagging around. That's not the case. Surprisingly, I feel like so many other players in Iron/Bronze have godlike aim, and I wonder how the hell this happens. I am stuck in Bronze 3. I know I have so much to improve, but it really feels like everyone else has instant reactions, perfect recoil and crosshair placement and so on. If it's like this in bronze, I can't even begin to imagine what it's like in Diamond or higher.
I’m immortal 1 and all I can suggest you do is hop into the range and practise on hard bots for hours on end, sounds brain numbing I know but it will improve your reaction and ability to hit heads instantly better. I usually spend about 30/45 mins before I play doing this everyday
@@billygillman5594 Thanks for the tip! I already do this every day before I play. Atm I manage to get constantly over 20 on normal and at least 10 on Hard. It has helped, but sometimes I feel I'm getting nowhere as it doesn't seem to impact my in-game performance that much :(
David Irimia watch a lot of pro games, like tsm. Watch people like Wardell or Brax stream. This will improve game knowledge and you can imitate there play style. Because what might feel like the right play to you, might not actually be the best decision. Sometimes you can have the worst aim in the game, but if you have the best game knowledge, you can definitely climb. I know i’m far from their level but I understand the plays they make and I 100% believe that’s why I went from gold in the beta to immortal in act 2
Best teammates are the ones with smoke. And giving free smokes for enemy to cross safely when we are on def. Then using smokes on our angles when we're on attack instead of smoking enemy sniping spots.
Most likely they are not smursf. They are the bronze players that improve and actually rank up quickly after you encounter them. If people that you get suck, you can still carry yourself through bronze if you train your own skill. You could probably solo Silver as well. In Gold, some teamplay will be required if you want to rank up further. It's the best to practice teamplay as soon as you can, but I'm aware that it's hard in soloq.
Better than most escape ELO hell videos that assume your gold because you don't have your monitor on. Here's the problem I have, I have map awareness, I know the angles, I know how to be aggressive and passive and I mix it up, I know how to trade kill and coordinate with teammates. But my aim is just average, as is my reaction time and when I start playing Plat or higher, I start getting out shot, which usually gets in my head and then my aim gets worse than it normally is. What would you recommend for a player like me?

Ah, yes. We were five stacking (silver/bronze players), and as soon as we switched to defense on haven, the enemy team decided to rush b site. It was a successful rush, they got the person watching b, but then we retook the site with ease. They didn't rush like that again.

Probably not enough silver players in your area. The game prioritizes servers closest to you, and if you live in a country where the game is not as popular, there's less players in each rank, which means the matchmaking system must put a different rank when yours aren't availible.

Bruh idk I was hardstuck bronze for a while (I had really bad aim and everything, I deserved it), but now I have better aim and crosshairs placement and somehow am hardstuck iron 3. I’ve had people even comment on my aim but it’s just so difficult to hard carry every game

Iron to bronze and in some cases silver should look at their setting and in some cases their hardware. Bad frames, laggy computer bad internet can be a real bottleneck. In terms of settings I'm talking sens: many don't know that even if your mouse is a 16.000dpi spec, what you really want is a lower dpi setting and lower sens that makes aiming easier. By low I mean like 1000dpi 0.5 sens or lower. I play with 800dpi 0.4 sens but it really depends on the individual.
Valorant is really low in resource consumption, so most likely if it's running bad on someone's PC, no other game would even run on it. I think these days most people have at least some cheap but fairly recent laptop, which is usually more than enough to play Valorant on at least 60 FPS.
Idk, i do all of these things, crosshair placement etc. Im team or match mvp really often but i still lose and just cant rank up. My peak was Gold 3 but im now stuck in gold 2 ... Ranked system is just trash

Thank you for the tips.. I have a question for you though.. How does one get better at game sense/awareness?? Beside playing the game and logging in hours, what are some tips you can provide for us lower rank players to get better game sense.. I feel as though I know what I should do, but for whatever reason, I freeze or take a bit too long deciding on what I should do, and then i die.. lol
Hey dude I wanted to say just don't grind comp you can play unrated too I got out from iron bye just playing a lot of unrated like 1 unrated can be a warm up if you just grind and grind you'll get hard stuck like you should take time to play the normal game too man don't try hard
I just wanted to pin point if u try to focus on the map then you get a bad habit initially of over looking the map because you start to think that map is more viable then the crosshire placement..(map has a delay of .3 to give the accurate information due to server latency and stuff)
Valorant ranking system is broken. In act 1 i was plat 1/2 and after act 2 started i got gold 1 at first and i dont mind but the problem is my teammate 2-3 of them are bronze and they dont even use their abilities at all especially sage. And bcos of that i deranked to silver. And now im thinking of creating a new account and starting from 0

me and my friend are stuck in bronze and silver because we consistently get queued with iron 1s who just started playing while the other team has all silver and gold. We also have no idea where we actually are in skill level because we keep getting demoted twice then promoted. also someone at riot thought that using arrows instead of numbers would work.

Solo Queue is still meh here, its rare that you get good team mates, otherwise you get people lower than rank and then the team game just doesn't happen. Forget about using comms and everything else.
If you get lower ranked teammates it most likely means that you're closer to deranking than to advancing.
@@Cavi587 I dont know, but at times i have had low rank guys and then i lose that match and next match i get people with same or little high rank, without even getting deranked. Many times i have had teammates with low rank even after a rank up. So really not sure how they are matchmaking
@@sagarmgandhi I assume that the game is not as popular in your country, which makes the matchmaking process harder. Sometimes it cant find a player that''s your rank so it has to put a lower or higher player just to fill the spot. It almost never happens across Europe or in the US, but in other parts of the world it might be an issue.
@@Cavi587 Its popular as there are already tons of CS GO players playing it, but your point is valid too as i found that many times i get people from different country + rank criteria too. Thats nice that you are getting players of similar ranks. We may have server in country by December and i think maybe after that the mm could be a little different.
Man I would expect Iron/Bronze to be low of the low, like people being bad at everything and just lollygagging around. That's not the case. Surprisingly, I feel like so many other players in Iron/Bronze have godlike aim, and I wonder how the hell this happens. I am stuck in Bronze 3.
I know I have so much to improve, but it really feels like everyone else has instant reactions, perfect recoil and crosshair placement and so on. If it's like this in bronze, I can't even begin to imagine what it's like in Diamond or higher.
I’m immortal 1 and all I can suggest you do is hop into the range and practise on hard bots for hours on end, sounds brain numbing I know but it will improve your reaction and ability to hit heads instantly better. I usually spend about 30/45 mins before I play doing this everyday
@@billygillman5594 Thanks for the tip! I already do this every day before I play. Atm I manage to get constantly over 20 on normal and at least 10 on Hard. It has helped, but sometimes I feel I'm getting nowhere as it doesn't seem to impact my in-game performance that much :(
David Irimia watch a lot of pro games, like tsm. Watch people like Wardell or Brax stream. This will improve game knowledge and you can imitate there play style. Because what might feel like the right play to you, might not actually be the best decision. Sometimes you can have the worst aim in the game, but if you have the best game knowledge, you can definitely climb. I know i’m far from their level but I understand the plays they make and I 100% believe that’s why I went from gold in the beta to immortal in act 2

Best teammates are the ones with smoke. And giving free smokes for enemy to cross safely when we are on def.
Then using smokes on our angles when we're on attack instead of smoking enemy sniping spots.

Most likely they are not smursf. They are the bronze players that improve and actually rank up quickly after you encounter them. If people that you get suck, you can still carry yourself through bronze if you train your own skill. You could probably solo Silver as well. In Gold, some teamplay will be required if you want to rank up further. It's the best to practice teamplay as soon as you can, but I'm aware that it's hard in soloq.

Better than most escape ELO hell videos that assume your gold because you don't have your monitor on. Here's the problem I have, I have map awareness, I know the angles, I know how to be aggressive and passive and I mix it up, I know how to trade kill and coordinate with teammates. But my aim is just average, as is my reaction time and when I start playing Plat or higher, I start getting out shot, which usually gets in my head and then my aim gets worse than it normally is. What would you recommend for a player like me?

We were five stacking (silver/bronze players), and as soon as we switched to defense on haven, the enemy team decided to rush b site. It was a successful rush, they got the person watching b, but then we retook the site with ease. They didn't rush like that again.

Hey I'm a silver player but why do I get matched (most of the times) with platinum or even some diamond players?
I hardly get 10 kills in a match.

Probably not enough silver players in your area. The game prioritizes servers closest to you, and if you live in a country where the game is not as popular, there's less players in each rank, which means the matchmaking system must put a different rank when yours aren't availible.

Bruh idk I was hardstuck bronze for a while (I had really bad aim and everything, I deserved it), but now I have better aim and crosshairs placement and somehow am hardstuck iron 3. I’ve had people even comment on my aim but it’s just so difficult to hard carry every game

Iron to bronze and in some cases silver should look at their setting and in some cases their hardware. Bad frames, laggy computer bad internet can be a real bottleneck.
In terms of settings I'm talking sens: many don't know that even if your mouse is a 16.000dpi spec, what you really want is a lower dpi setting and lower sens that makes aiming easier. By low I mean like 1000dpi 0.5 sens or lower. I play with 800dpi 0.4 sens but it really depends on the individual.
Valorant is really low in resource consumption, so most likely if it's running bad on someone's PC, no other game would even run on it. I think these days most people have at least some cheap but fairly recent laptop, which is usually more than enough to play Valorant on at least 60 FPS.
My mmr is set in stone. I’m stuck in bronze match mvp. 80 percent of my games.

you have to activate the agent's contract that you want to unlock and just grind the levels
