It must suck. Daigo has full confidence in his own country, and when it comes to different areas, imagine the pressure. No one cheers him on and WANTS him to lose. Mad respect for Daigo to play it cool and win.
The recovery of the neutral jump was less than the backslash and slash(backflips) so it was less risky in the right range not to mention he didn't give space and pushing himself to the corner.
Jozhear actually was not able to finish top 32 at evo nor even at canada cup 2011. The vega player at CEO this year was able to place top 32 and place relatively high at majors. His reputation isn't well deserved as other vega's have been able to accomplish more then in at tournaments.
@kite0impulse I noticed there`s hardly any overweight people anywhere in the world compared to the U.S btw... this IS an american tourney, Canada is also in america...
@Dobogio You do know that Jozhear is one of the best Vega's in the world right? I dunno whether he's as good as Tatsu but still he's a fantastic player. And when your facing the Daigo, for most people that's brown trousers time anyway lol. I dunno whether your a Vega main, just like myself. But Vega's got so many holes in his game it's honestly laughable. Vega's so safe to jump in on that Daigo could proberly beat any Vega while he's stoned.
I wouldnt say he is anywhere near the top i the world. Who does he beat outside alberta guys, didnt he lose to lapchi and jj on ab2. Ive never seen jozhear beat anyone good in repeated streaks over a long period of time. Almost any video of him fighting top players he loses badly.
@FlawlessMatador1 I don't quite understand where your going with this. If Jozhear said that, then yeah he's definitely wrong. But I don't see why that matters. As for saying "he would lame everyone out for the win", you gotta do that a lot anyway to ensure you win with Vega. If you've got a large life lead with Vega and go in head strong for the attack randomly, then your gonna get smashed to bits.
The vega player crouch techs too much and seems to forget how to block when he is cornered....not saying he is bad but I didnt even see 1 OS from him and vega is all about OS.
He crouch techs to much, no os and he doesn't block under preasure. He needs to step away from his circle of players if he hopes to get any credit as a player.
My cousin said, that if I want to learn how to play street Fighter 4, I should watch some of daigo's matches. Now I did. And quite honestly, I feel like not playing it anymore.
