Because Nako is just so damn cute, it's easy to overlook how really pretty she is and to forget how talented she is. Sadly in such a big group and with such a naturally high-pitched voice, it can be hard for her to get lines. If one writes songs that could really feature Nako's voice, there are a bunch of members that would hardly get to sing because they can't go that high stably. I do hope though that eventually they get a lead single that can feature Nako a bit more. You see her Produce 48 performances and realize she clearly has lead singer talent rather than sub-vocalist talent. Of course, the problem is that Chaewon, Eunbi, and Yuri as the main singers are going to get most of the high notes in IZ*One songs. One of the endearing things about Nako is that while she clearly wishes she was a bit taller, she doesn't let her height get her down and has learned to embrace it and take advantage of it. She is one of the most popular members partly because she is so petite. It also makes her instantly recognizable. She also clearly embraces how the twin towers from Starship work well with her making her look even cuter when next to them, and that she makes them look even more statuesque creating a nice synergy effect. If I was Starship, seeing how well Nako gets along with Yujin and Wonyoung, and that she she is really talented as a performer and at variety, I would definitely inquire about her joining Starship to debut in a group with those two and some other Starship trainees once IZ*One is done. Those three have such great variety potential and such great stage presence, that if you had a really good main singer and a main rapper, you would have a very solid group that would likely have the enviable position of at least three members constantly being on variety shows or MC'ing hyping the group and inevitably bring along the other less known members. Wonyoung and Yujin are natural MC's for music shows, and as Wonyoung gets older she is pretty clearly going to develop into that YoonA/Seohyun awards show/special concert MC role as she is so natural as a speaker. In another year at the rate Nako's Korean is improving she will easily be able to go on any Korean TV show on her own and pretty much fit right in as well.
