Very interesting perspective on starting a small gaming business. And a good interview. Surprised PS2 games are selling well. A lot of stores were stuck with inventory for the longest time and most ps3s are not backwards compatible. Lucky to have a PS2 slim because the original is so fussy.
@@popculturehero Yeah ps2 surprised me as well, but it’s now approaching that time to where the generation that grew up on the ps2 is out of college and starting to make money, so a lot of people are rebuying their childhood. I’ve seen that a lot with my friends who sold their PS2s forever ago and are now buying them back(Us being the generation that grew up on them). @@OrbitGametv That’s a great idea… like a punch card system or like you said, a point system where they get 1 point for every $5 they spend and then get maybe 20% off once they get 100 points
@@BaileyABerry yeah something like that and the game tournaments you have a entry fee. so it keeps your business a float. so you get a cut from the entry fee and the winners get there cut as well. but you have to plan how best it works for you
