Remember, when you get called with a bluff…you usually can’t win without trying it. If a player doesn’t try to bluff often enough, he’s probably not that good of a player. Plus, when you’re caught bluffing, it makes it more likely to be called in future hands when you need/want the call. It just didn’t work out this particular session. It happens. It’s part of Poker.
As far as I can tell , you stuck to your general philosophy and had solid reasoning behind the plays you made. Sometimes it works , sometimes really good players might pick up a read, sometimes variance bites you in the ass. Keep studying , keep learning and growing and sharing your insights with us and we’ll keep smashing the like button.
I’m new to the channel. You seem very responsible with your playing and have a good head on your shoulders. Good luck with the next one and I’ll be watching.
Pretty good session. Thought you played well. I like turning the king into a bluff. I didn't see him getting to the river with AK either. You would have folded out any middling pair there. Keep up the good work Wolf!
Bro!! I remember when you first started poker. It’s awesome you moved to Texas. I remember begging you to come. I really hope one day we get to play. ❤
Anybody can act super and brag when they win but a real champion knows that it’s how you played that matters most. Good luck on your next session Wolf. 🐺
No need to polarize with 8 3 if you’re trying to get mid pocket pairs to fold a half pot to 2/3rd pot bet risks less money and is more likely to get mid pairs to fold against sticky players
I absoutly love the "play with me" hands, but a quick editing note: At 11:43, you can see that Bryan has an offsuit of some kind, and Jared has 2 red cards, making suited hands a little more likely. You can also notice that you have won the pot at 12:02, as the losing hands are greyed out, and yours remains bright. Later in the video, at 13:28 you can actually tell you are drawing dead as your cards become greyed out on the turn, indicating that Bulldog has an Ace. I understand it would be more effort to edit these out while still keeping in a good amount of information, but for myself, would make these hand replays much more fun to watch / play along with!
3 hours to drive after a loss is the worst to play woulda, coulda shoulda through your head.. The best thing to do is to think of overall stats instead of recent memory, but easier said than done. Have a strong bounce back sir 💪
That AK was a little too sticky - Same with K-10 for $4000 preflop. These two hands were the difference -results oriented… Keep your head up Wolfgang. You are playing with some big boys now : ) congrats on making it
@9:20 i would not assume that you have 9 outs. your queen of hearts is probably dead, and at least one more heart was probably dealt out. maybe 7 outs instead? not sure if that factors into your calculation at all bc i suck at poker :)
The last hand AQ 6-7K takes it down pre which would be ideal, 4k after his 1800 is begging for a call too good of odds for him. You need to think more instead of just clicking buttons.
Your last three streams had you get showered with chips meant you have to take a bath sooner or later. This time they had the suds all ready for you. The set of queens getting sent down the toilet with that flush seemed to set the mood. But it happens. You just need to make the resolve to get a new bankroll for the next day.
Newb questions.. Do you have to be invited to these events? I don’t see cameras. How are cards known during the stream? Why is the dealer wearing a headset?
If you join the lodge card club you can play on stream but they do invite people to play as well. The camera's are on the walls and ceiling. There's a card reader on the table that the players hold their cards over to start the hand. The dealer where's a headset because they operate the drive through of the restaurant attached to the club. They multi tasking pros !
Here either way bro. Appreciate the content. One question for ya. What is your recommendation on starting bankroll size for someone play 1/3-2/5 cash games around 20 hours a week ?
Way to open up your game - Everybody knows you can bluff and get into tough spots.. Now just capitalize on winning monster pots. All about winning the maximum rate on the River.
Can someone explain why a successful pro who can consistently profit off rec players would willingly join a high stakes livestream with other competent pros? It just seems like an easy way to destroy your long-term strategy in just one game.
I am still wondering if you just make these videos to crush your opponents, because you are a solver cash game genius in reality and only playing this character. Because the impression from all these videos is like you playing like a live pro in the year 2007. Decent, but never heard of ranges, balancing and solvers in your live. You sth. make such weird decisions. Either way I respect that you show a lot of your mistakes without ego involved
fundamentally your logic is off. losing $3800 on a call also gives you the possible reward of winning $3800 + whatever is in the pot. paying out the nit game is just a straight $800 loss and has no positive EV implications
I think you should incognito mode all of the livestreams. should cut back on all the keyboard warriors commenting on what they would do, when they can see the cards.
@@frankmigliore8505you probably know very little about social media engagement. You’re blasting off on him due to one bad session with some questionable decisions. The guy has reels (short form content) that regularly go viral and provide him with a ton of engagement. Believe what you want though, i guess.
J❤️inthat 1 hand didn't block anything, nothing at all,not a strait draw or flush draw, idk why everyone says they had a suit blocker meaning whatever suit is in use, just cause the opp has 1 of those suits it doesnt block anything, maybe maybe a higher flush then you,but if you already got it,he aint blocking shit, and how the fuck did bulldog fold trip A's with really no draw out there,ya if you thought he played the lower cards for that gutter, but come on seriously
So u have AQ the flop cmes king high and you think thats the PERFECT time to c-bet???!!?!?! Bro you have to use logic they usually have a king there.... HORRIBLE time to put more omney in the pot... you'll never be elite if u cant figure that out
That chip catch by the dealer was such a casual flex to shut down minor disrespect haha, I'm glad the commentators showed a replay to acknowledge it.
We are here in your good AND bad runs buddy. Keep smashing it and bounce back. You played well, just drawing cards are not always in our favor.

What a catch by the dealer in that last hand!

I wonder if he calls your all in on that river if he checks when that flush hits
Wolfgang fam is here. So no worries, together well book the next win 💪
Buddy folding the trip aces was crazy
Head up man, played some tough hands. Keep moving forward, gotta win your money back 💰
I heard you say Ace 3 off suit but that was actually 8 3 off suit you were playing lol. U put him on the A J which is exactly what he had though! 😅
hard to bluff off loose (gambling) players. good job!!!
@Wolfgang_Poker 22:04 + If you hide your check when you are winning, you also should hide your check if you are losing.

Sorry to see that you had a tough session. But how did you like the KG BBQ???
That Bulldog hand had to be a misread by the card reader no way he folded trips!!
we can see the color of the blurred cards, and we know if you have the goods on the river.
Talks about being up 30k then dusts off most of that 🎉🎉 lol

i really like that you blur our the opponents' hands. please continue to do it more in the future
Gs great play keep grinding
Never seen anyone in Texas fold trip Aces . Maybe since he’s from the UK ?
I really like hiding the cards of the other players. Adds mystery n interest.
Best of luck going forward.
Enjoy all your vlogs
Do you play professionally?
Coming to firekeepers for MSPT?
Beware of the Ace Queen! The parking lot hand!
Can you not hide opponents cards? If you hide, it becomes hard for us to follow when you share your thought process. Thanks
I just laughed hard, bro. Call with 32o and say, "we just catch any cards today." 🤣

Rough Wolf. You will get it back.
AQ just ain’t your hand. You’ll get that money back. You ain’t make any bad plays though.
Love your analysis, but the AQ over-drama & acting at the end was poor.
Editing is 💯x above the rest🫡
All good ! Still here, good vid
It's a shame you didn't call with Ace high that would've been off the hook homie !
WolfGang!!!!! just to ease your mind: think of how Brad Owen felt, when he lost $100k+ on one session.
Wolf, keep playing, one session does not a poker player make. Be great!
The guy folded 3 aces to a small bet, you are considering an all in as bluff from same guy?? 🤣 No, right?!
Felt like a little too much editing in the intro
Love Watching You Lose 😂 😂 😂
I Would just check fold with The AQ #Donkey
The problem is you sat down on a table where everyone was more experienced with each other and as a card player at that kind of money😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓😓
Sometimes you have to be conservative and check or fold.
wolf you're overplaying AQ offsuit wayyyy too often

Ouch big loss 😢

Clickbait thumbnail , calling with a worse hand isn’t a hero call. That and 83o value betting what did I just watch
