great vlog. New subscriber. Huge place. Loved the drone footage. Some interesting vans there, that's for sure. We too daily vlog...so many memories to look back on.
@@THErealBRITSofFlorida hi thanks for your kind comments. There was thousands of vans and the site was massive. Some really interesting set ups. We love doing these videos, as you say so many memories to share with the family and anyone else who is interested 😀 thanks again.
@@xsue1967x hi, thank you for your lovely comments. I do have a van tour video on the channel but it’s and old one so will definitely do another. We’re away for the weekend so may be able to add it into our next video 👍
Thank you for yet another fantastic upload. The info was great as we have not been to any festivals in our VW yet. The filming, drone work and editing made so enjoyable to watch. I'm sure it must have been tiring getting around the venue, not to mention the drive to get there, so thank you for sharing it with us. Looks like Bracken had a fantastic time too! 😀
Hi Jackie, thank you for your kind comments and we are so glad you enjoyed the video. The festival was massive and I think we were just a little naive about how big these festivals can be. We didn't get to see the entertainment as it was too far away for us to walk to. We did get to the stall and vendors and enjoyed looking around. Bracken loved the attention he always got from everyone he met, always getting cuddles and kisses, although there was a moment when the dinosaurs freaked him out a little 🤣 We have more videos planned soon, including a couple of days away and then our trip to the highlands and the isle of Skye...we can't wait 😁
Guys there was a red double decker bus that drove around the site picking up and dropping off free If you think of returning next year Weston view is right next to the main areas so a lot closer 👍
Hi, We never saw a big red bus until we were actually leaving. It was empty so wasn't sure if it was part of the show. If we try any other festival we will definitely be looking for somewhere to park a bit closer to the action 😁
@HimHerandtheDogs a mixture of the weather and not feeling too good also just not feeling the vibe really .. loved a walk round looking at all the other buses and stalls .. I think I'm getting old haha
Hi, I loved the atmosphere and seeing all the campers but it was hard work with our mobility issues so I don't think we will be doing any more unless we get a day pass...maybe?
Hello, don’t be put off, when my wife was ill we took a collapsible festival trolley with us, it carried our little dogs and camping chairs. This allowed my wife/us to rest when necessary and kept the dogs from being stressed with all the people.
@@justinhannibell354 I saw loads of people with the trollies, maybe I should get a big one and get the wife to pull me around 🤣🤣 do you know when the Leeds festival is on.
@@garykerr67 hi Garry, the brand is DS Campers M1, I’ve just watched a YT video and they are like you, they start off anti-clockwise then clockwise to return. To be honest I think I’ve always just gone with the way it naturally starts, but as you can see it’s always a struggle. I will try it anti-clockwise next time and report back 😜👍
Hi Gary, just wanted to thank you for your advice. We were away at the weekend and I tried the seat in the anti-clockwise position and is was soooo much easier. Thank you.
We loved camper jam but stopped going a few years ago cos it’s got way to commercial and it’s lost the essence of a vw show . People walking round openly smoking cannabis and making sure people can’t sleep . Dubs at the castle is our favourite show . A lot smaller show but still has the vw vibe
Hi, Thanks for your comments. We were out of our comfort zone and naively didn't realise how big it would be. There were plenty of VWs there but many other makes also. The vehicle show was very disappointing for me, I was expecting loads of vehicles to look around but in essence, there were only around 12. I think for us, we tick the box....been there, done that, don't need to do it again. But still needed to experience it
Bus feast is still a great show . It is big but still has the essence of vw . We’ll be there but don’t think will ever do camperjam again which is a shame . Oh well plenty of shows to enjoy instead though 👍
I’ve been to everyone since the second show and every year it’s got bigger and bigger that’s not mentioned the toilet year. go to the point where it’s too big and they’re just too greedy. Charging extra for non-Volkswagens it’s just a charging extra for pictures. It’s just a joke. The food prices are going through the roof again because of the euros massive screen just got in the road. It’s 10 to either expand massively the food entertainment area or cut numbers and make two shows.
Hi Chris, thanks for your comments. This was our first festival so I can't comment on good or bad as we have nothing to compare it to. We did enjoy the vendor's and sellers' stalls and to be honest, I thought the prices of the goods being sold were reasonable with some offering festival discounts. I agree the festival was massive, and we never managed to get to the entertainment area where the music and fair were because of the size. I was disappointed with the vehicle show area. I was expecting a load of vehicles to look around but unfortunately, there was only a small handful. If they charge extra for non-VW that seems unfair as it wasn't a case of vehicle sizes and lack of space for each pitch so all vehicles should be the same price. I hope you enjoyed the video and stick around for our future VanVentures! 👍
I agree, walking is good for you. Unfortunately, we both have health conditions that make walking and mobility difficult for both of us. Naively we didn't expect the distances to be so far. We really enjoyed what we saw, but definitely no more festivals for us 😁
That middle lane hogging comes in handy when clueless driving.

My bench seat is on a kiravans swivel, it turns anti-clockwise to face backwards, im not sure what yours is.
Clockwise to go back into position.
